I feel ya there but that doesn't always work. Some maps it will happen more than others but it seems that a teammate could, and often would, spawn on the opposite side of the map regardless of the given siuation. The spawn is inconsistent with the enemies position on the map in relation to the the living teammate; it is so bad at times it almost felt like RNG.
Sometimes they would spawn right behind their partner as you 1v1 said partner. Sometimes a vicious cycle would play out and the enemy team would simply hop from spawn to spawn killing the incoming single player then hop back to the other side to quickly kill the other...rinse and repeat.
So sitting and waiting works sometimes but then you run the risk of giving the enemy team easy heavy...so round over anyway. Of course being with a blueberry that doesn't understand the concept of playing heavy and runs off in some random direction also doesn't help. Usually results in the "vicious cycle." Spawns in general need work, but crimson days really highlighted the issue for me.
