1. More vault space for “collection” armor (why is this even a problem after it got fixed in D1?)
2. More shader slots (maybe the amount actually in the game?)
3. More mod slots (maybe the amount actually in the game?)
4. More armor (stop reskinning your trash!)
5. More weapons (stop reskinning your trash!)
6. More maps (I’d even settle for a legacy system what was available in D1 at this point because if I have to see another “new map” being advertised that’s simply a reskin from D1, I’m gonna lose it)
7. Crimson Doubles encouraged team shooting even more than usual. The drift apart debuff prevented any real tactics from being exercised because the moment you left more than 10M from your teammate, you pop up as an icon. How does one flank when that occurs? It’s antithetical to strategic use of any map and promotes campy, linear gameplay.
I’m just tired. Tired of looking the same as everyone else in the Tower. Tired of the outrageous Bright dust costs for cosmetics. Tired of lackluster creativity with subclasses. Tired of the condensed skill ceiling that never existed in D1 and wasn’t necessary in D2. Tired of the only fan base Bungie being worried about is the casual one that plays the content for a week and leaves. Tired of making excuses for the lack of overall content this game has.
I spent 4,000+ hours in D1. I’m hardly able to justify getting online at all anymore. It pains me to say that. I love the Destiny universe but what we see in game is the equivalent of a small city by comparison. This game has so much potential and it’s been botched so badly for the past six months. I played 5 games of Crimson Doubles today and it just felt bleh. There’s nothing special about anything being offered and I know the same stuff is coming back around next year, so why bother until the game itself is in a better state?

Crimson days wasn't about tactics, it was about staying together and about a buff of power if you did. That's what it was meant to do and it did it well. I killed alot and got killed more but I'm not whining about it cause I had fun. The game mode did what it was supposed to do. This game can not get better if everyone whines about everything they do. And that's all people are doing no matter what. They released D2 with an idea and they realize it's wrong and trying to fix, yes it's a little slow moving but it's happening, be happy and try to see the silver lining. Also this game is not a PvP based game, read the lore and you will find out that the crucible is like practice for guardians to stay in shape and on point. It was a fun game mode and was not meant to be tactical.

Edited by Prafese: 2/20/2018 12:40:00 AMI disagree wholeheartedly. It rewards methods of gameplay that don’t apply in any other playlist in the game. You made my point for me. Read the lore. It’s meant as practice for Guardians and as a way to stay in shape. So, what you’re suggesting is that we practice the wrong methods because that’s somehow okay in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. Nope. I won four out of the five games I played, the only loss being my first game back after a near month-long break. I understand how to play the playlist just fine. But it was boring. Campy and linear. As to your remark about complaining, just stop. They asked for feedback, I provided it. You don’t like it? Cool, but in the words of the great Lebowski, that’s like...your opinion man. And everything I said was my opinion. Doesn’t make me right, doesn’t make you right. Come off your soapbox.

It was just meant for fun and a break from the regular crucible. Meant to stay together not to be tactical and split up for flanking, hense the waypoint if you did split up. Yes crucible is meant for tactical practice and what not, so I should of said it different. But this week was just supposed to be about fighting with your partner and having fun using your abilities more if you stuck together. And it was fun even when we got split up. Besides the sore losers who lag switch it was great. Especially all the grenades that got thrown. I loved it. And if you just camped then maybe you didn't have fun cause I did plenty of flanking that worked and didn't work out. And as for the whining I was talking about, there is a difference between feedback and always complaining. And because things didn't start perfect with this game that's all people do is whine no matter what Bungie tries to do, that's not feed back. And yes you can say what you want and so can I. And I don't think whining because you couldn't be tactical in a game mode that was meant for everything but tactics is not feedback, but that is my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love all the whining people do, it's entertainment for me and others. But I just don't see how anyone could not have fun in doubles this week, the game mode did what it was built to do.

In your eyes it did, in my eyes it didn’t. You don’t get to disqualify anyone that disagrees with your point of view as intrinsically whiny. That’s ad populum and won’t win you any arguments. I flanked just fine with the icon over my head because I’m not a turd, but we shouldn’t be placed at a disadvantage in ANY playlist for trying to apply some strategy to it. I didn’t mind the buff received for staying nearby but the penalty was asinine. I didn’t need to camp because a majority of the player-base still playing that playlist was sub-1KD (attracted to campy-linear strat) or too fixated with staying close to their partner to do anything even when I did flank. Whether you believe it to be or not, candid feedback is exactly that: candid feedback. Your disagreement with my points doesn’t make it less so and doesn’t equate it with devolving into whiny complaining. This is my last reply. Enjoy the rest of your night.
