Crimson was put together nicely . Easy to get crimson engrams there was multiple ways to do it as well. That’s all fine .
There’s one glaring problem. Cosmetic items are that only cosmetic . Adding guns and or armor that are unique to these events is what’s needed.
That’s the problem son to chase and to collect . Getting an emote is fine and all but we need items that actually impact gameplay .
Unique items that change or make it into your loadout.
Something unique that changes how you play. Make it unique to the live event and be done with it .

I remember playing it simply because it was unique. Then again, d1 already had good weapons with lots of perks (and of course random rolls), so we played doubles for the fun of it. So, let’s face the very sad truth: what we really want is d2 to be d1...and that’s not going to happen. Cosmetic loot is 95% of what you’re EVER going to get. I’m sorry man. I’m in no way trying to be a jerk. I played d1 all weekend and I’m just completely baffled. There is SO MUCH to do in that game. I played for several hours and didn’t get 10% of the weekly stuff done. Why on earth they scrapped all of that...for this???...I will never understand. It is beyond me.

Also I don’t think your being a jerk . Your speaking truth . All valid points . It amazing how far they digressed with d2 . Yeah as it stands d1 is superior as it stands today than d2 will probably ever be. All we can do is try and provide feedback with the hope that future dlc will change things up . We need an April update right about now . Or a taken king or hell even rise of iron style expansion right now . Destiny 1 was in a pretty sorry place for a while as well. But they worked and corrected a lot of the issues so..... sigh here’s hoping

No crimson didn’t have anything other than cosmetic items. The state of d1 was what made crimson work . With the state of d2 specific loot is the real downfall. That’s the chase . The chase if for new weapons and new ways to shoot aliens . It’s the frustration of getting the same damn things over again and nothing new being added . Grinding prison of elders for fallen themed weapons , grinding the forge for forge specific weapons that’s what d2 needs. Cosmetics just don’t cut it anymore. That’s not enough to make me want to play . Let alone I’m sure 1000s of destiny fans who feel the same way . The raid would change if there was let’s say a new mytho or new fatebringer . Those special weapons were the reason to play d1 . D2 sadly is lacking those special items. The one thing curse of Osiris had right were the forge weapon quest sadly the guns don’t stand out . Without random rolls if nothing stands out or makes the gameplay unique why play .? Am I right ? Take the Prometheus lens for example sure it was broken but crucible was alive it was crazy and hectic everyone had it sure it was handed to most but still static rolls brings monotony. Something has to be put in place to turn it around. I like the dawning and crimson etc but without a real chase the game will continue to decline . Kinda sucks to be a destiny fan right now . You want to step in the world and enjoy and chase something special . Not cosmetics

This is D2 we are talking about, we cannot be unique like we want to be any more my friend, but according to Bungie that skin for sweet bussiness makes us unique as f*?k and don't forget the emote

I know I’m preaching to the choir but one can always hope. It doesn’t matter crimson is over tomorrow and time for the disk to get put away .. It’s been fun . :)
