Don't buy Destiny 3
Bungie is going to destroy all of your hard earned inventory
Give you a half ass game
Lock behind everything on microtransactions
Will charge you an expensive season pass
and will fix everything in Destiny 3 year 2 with a taken-king-esque style

3 RepliesMeh. I’ll still buy it. One a the games on a very short list that’s been able to keep my attention. Haven’t played lately as my wife and I are counting down the days until our first baby arrives. Been all “ nesting” phase and just have no time to play anything.

You cant tell people what to buy and not buy. I am sure that whenever it does come out which wont be anytime soon, people may hold off on pre ordering the game so they can see for themselves if it does play the way it should be or not. Honestly considering how much heat Destiny 2 got I doubt Bungie will want to go through all that backlash again and if they are working on Destiny 3 now then hopefully they are giving themselves tons more time into the game than they did with Destiny 2 which was a fairly rushed game...........

Just shut up already, you want to know why? Because when d1 launched ppl like you cried and cried on these same forums for years, until pretty much year 3. Now you do the same, except now you are comparing this game 6 months in, to a previous game that had 4 years of development. You want to know what became stale in d1 as well, the first raid...the same crucible weapons, the same classes. Just like the current state of d2. So don't sit here and whine about not buying d3. A game that is currently in the very beginning stages of development. What you don't understand is destiny is designed as an evolving game with constant slow dlcs and updates. The game launches and then a slow trickle of gameplay and story is released over time. So of course a game 4 years down the line will have a shit ton more to do on a weekly basis than a game 6 months in. This is a sequel not d1 continued. It is a new story. You want a game that has 4000 hours of gameplay at launch then go buy wow and pay a monthly subscription fee and complain about that.

The gaming industry just got a wake up call. We want quality for a good price and won't settle for anything less. I'm Glad EA did what they did and people are speaking up about it.

This is going to bring the hate but I will probably buy it, D1 kept me playing from the first to the last day and though it had its flaws it was worth the money many times over. D2 kept me playing for a couple of weeks and a day or so once the expansion came out. Again very good value for money. £80 I think it was for D2 and 2 expansions, that is less than the cost of a day out with the wife.

1 ReplyDon't worry, they won't see me touching this D3. My money will be spent elsewhere, preferably mostly on Switch or future mainline of Assassin's Creed or some jRPGs on XBone. As long as Bungo stays partnered up with Activisions, they can suck their balls.
