Epic fail. A GROUP of men with knives. Imagine that same group with guns.
you tried.
English
-
knife attacks are more effective, they create more chaos
-
They aren't more effective because they kill less people lol
-
interestingly enough, hand guns do hold first place in homicides in the us. the state withe the most is california... a state that doesn't allow handguns https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2016/crime-in-the-u.s.-2016/tables/table-12
a state that doesn't allow handguns
Are you sure about the statement you made? Because I live in California, and the .22 that I have registered to my name (And I would use for home defense, if anyone were to ever break into my home) speaks otherwise of what you said.
-
That means they aren't using handguns
-
nope, 7,000+ people where murdered last year by hand guns, 1000 of them where in california
-
Now imagine if the bystanders all had guns. The situation would have been diffused in seconds.
-
Some people wouldn’t know who’s who. Group of gunmen start shooting and then a bystander takes out his gun to fire at them. Then, another bystander sees that bystander shooting, thinks he’s the murderer, starts shooting him. Chaos ensues
-
Well, that usually doesn’t happen in situations like this. Usually, if a civilian has a gun in a situation like this, the situation will remain unaffected, or diffused.
-
Escalation leads to escalation A crowd with guns would likely have unintended casualties too and other unintended ramifications
-
Honestly, I think if everyone had a gun in the situation, mass confusion would take over the crowd and the innocents would start gunning each other down, because they don't know who is trust worthy, they just heard a gunshot so therefore everyone with a gun there besides themselves are a possible threat.
-
Well, while that might sound true, but if a civilian has a gun in a situation like that, it usually tends to either do nothing to help the situation, or make it better.
-
More guns don't reduce deaths. Should go without saying really... If the bystanders have guns so do the attackers and they would kill more with guns than knives. Just take a page out of America's books to see how many people 1 person can kill with a gun.
-
There have been an innumerable number of occurrences in which a civilian with a firearm stopped a criminal with a firearm. While most of them were not mass killings, my point still stands.
-
Now imagine if the bystanders all had guns. The situation would have been diffused in seconds.
Now imagine if the bystanders all had lightsabers. The bad guys would have most certainly been disarmed.
-
Now imagine them with VBIEDs.
