Who or What is the Vex Collective?
So in that one quest on Io called "Dynasty" there was this one part of the quest where Asher brings up about how the Taken plan on taking over the Vex Collective, but my question is "Who or what is it?!" If the Vex only need their frames for combat then is the Vex collective built for combat or is it more per say just a vast pool of radiolaria somewhere far in the Destiny universe contained in some place?
I would assume that how in D1 a recording of Praydeth in the VoG part of the Exotic No Time to Explain quest states that the Vex have minds the size of "Planets" meaning that could the so called Vex Collective be literally the size of planets or something like the Leviathan?

Osiris and sagira (my theory anyways, that I'm still thumbing through) It is said that they are the last remain of a biological life. Per sagira, the vex want convergence, once an organism is converged it becomes radiolaria, but don't worry you never truly die as in another simulation/reality you exist with the same criteria of where you died...which your ghost transports you to. So, according to her, you never truly die...just get moved around.

The Vex Collective is the knowledge of everything the Vex know. If the Taken got ahold of that, they would know where to strike on anything the Vex have seen. Which would be bad.

We still don't know where these planets are, Mercury should be one and Nessus too. Argos being the planetary core of Nessus, but other than that there's not damn bit of information for him. I think there was something about the PvP map jiz... I mean Floating Gardens, what I'm really wondering about is how the Taken will do it and can the Vex finally combat it. It's has to do with Quria, Blade Transformed with Savathun pulling the strings, god I hope they pull this bit of story off well without destroying the lore further.

5 RepliesI have to imagine that somewhere out there there’s a sort of ‘living planet’ that is basically a glob of Vex fluid.
