I'm really enjoying the 2v2. The rewards aren't anything special, the sparrow from 2v2 looks pretty awesome though. I'm really hoping 2v2 will come back as a permanent playlist for crucible. Even solo queuing has been decent. Sure you get matched up with actual teams of two, but you can still work with your partner to pull off a win.
