The first suggestion I'd make is next Tuesday when this ends, immediately switch normal PvP to these ability cooldowns and leave them there until the balance patch is ready because they may be a little fast, but they're WAAAY closer to where they need to be than what we have and they make PvP fun.
In year one of Destiny I lived in the Crucible. In HoW I basically only logged in for IB, but I played basically every hour I was awake and not at work.
Years 2 and 3, I thought PvP got largely ruined but still played because we could do it as a team of six with all our friends. D2 took that away and so I've had almost no desire to play PvP in D2. It isn't really fun solo and 4v4 ruins raid teams and we can't choose modes so we're stuck playing types we hate.
The last 2 days, I haven't wanted to stop playing Crucible. Solo or with a fireteam partner, it's easily the most fun Destiny PvP has been since HoW. I've said from the start and this I think shows it definitively that grenades don't need to be buffed, they just need to be available more. Melee need to be 2 hit kills. High risk/reward guns that punish missing need to have sightly faster kill times.
I really hope that the sandbox team understands how much better this PvP is and that this isn't a one off experience.
