Being a Gears of War fan i never got into the Halo series much. So when Destiny was arriving, and the hype was there i was like whatever ill give it a shot. Little did i know that Destiny 1 would be my top 5 of all time. The expieriences i had, breaking out of my solo gaming norm and meeting so many cool people, running through numerous raids, crucible, banner and trials, and messing with fellow guradians through emotes and just this Bungie world was extreme fun. Bought t shirts, looked forward to what Bungie had at PAX west and really invested into this game and community. I never thought id actually be a Bungie fan after never really playing Halo. But now ive found this new game with Monster Hunter World. Similiar situation with not playing any past games and going in blind, but now found a great game with an equally positive community that D1 had and i feel ive found something to fill that void that was left on everybody from D2. Being a souls, Nioh fan im loving this game and it seems to have done opposite of what most capitalistic 'gaming' companies have been doing and just make a great and enjoyable game, with fellow hunters all collaborating for the same goal. I wont get rid of my copy of Destiny 2, like a ex girlfriend you hope gives up the partying and drugs. Taken King was salvation, but even then this FPS is still the most sound to shoot, but that is it. No desire to invest serious play time or have any excitement anymore. This new chick has me sprung, and finally having that ambition to get out of work and collab with some buddies and get to farming and hunting.
