  • Not that you care or test the game but it'd terrible. I only see fireteams of 2 against me and another random. I only see people spamming skip grenades and jumping around. I only see antiope-D and auto rifles. I only see what I saw the last 8 months. Bungie being invaluable of making a fun game. [spoiler]please don't make destiny 3[/spoiler]

      +Ability spam is fun. +Quick games = quick rewards That's about all the pros I can see. -Ability spam is also annoying af. Can't see jack shit through all the effects. Also, class ability spam isn't the best here. More in the later point. -AFKers due to the games being short enough to where the auto-kick doesn't activate. Leonidas was the one I just played with and against. Oh, boy. Did it feel good to kill that asshole. -Although we can get a good amount of rewards from the quick games, the drop rate for Crimson packages is garbage. When farming for levels is faster than doing the main PvP event that Crimson Days was originally, that's not very good. -Heavy ammo. Who had the bright idea of having heavy ammo spawn in one single location, where people can just camp at for the whole round? Either make the heavy ammo a random spawn location, or don't have it in there at all. Every single game I played, if you didn't secure the heavy ammo spawn area, it's an auto lose. Just get on your Warlock, throw down a rift every 2 damn seconds with Arc Soul, and throw grenades out the ass. Like, ???????????????????????? You expect me to have fun with this garbage? Okay. In a nutshell: D2 PvP is still trash, and I regret buying this game on PS4 and PC. D1 wasn't perfect, but at least I could have fun here and there in PvP even as a PvE main. Way to drop the ball for D2. But I digress. Crimson Days is much better than the Dawning, but your events for D2 is, sorry to say, still trash. Edits: Grammar cause what is sleep at 5am when you needa work in a few hours?

    • A mode with a lower player count should focus more on individual skill, not grenade spam and camping power ammo. Guns feel useless until you get power ammo. Set grenades at 10 sec recharge and increase time the further you are from teammate. Also add a 2nd power ammo spawn to make the power ammo plays feel more clutch with both teams being able to grab some.

    • Complete and utter shit. Healing rift + titan barrier is legitimately unbeatable. Weapon balance is still garbage, game is still just a bunch of camping and laning with auto rifles.

      Seems like it should be fun but I cant get a match without lag ,my bar is full ,am I playing with players with similar connections?I like if I get beat to try a different approach like messing with my build a little to counter whatever the other team threw at me,wait I can only swap to 1 other "attunement"?Well that's not very fun,seems...backward? why would you not let us build our sub classes?The whole fascination of D1 revolved around "builds"Now you build it for us.I guess it doesnt matter I have all the guns with all possible scope barrel configurations anyway,no feel of individuality in this, all this same weapon 2 build world.Throwing pink into a shader is not what anyone that plays wants.We want to build our subclasses & random weapon perks. If you could take D1 and add a green subclass with some elemental power or whatever to these worlds...all would be better. Easy right?

    • This event was ridiculous a year ago and it's just as ridiculous now. No one wants to play a 2v2 event with cosmetic loot for rewards. This isn't what anyone asked for back in December, so I am unsure of what kind of response you're expecting. Fix your sandbox first, and then restore what we had in D1 - then start experimenting with these sorts of modes again - how can you devote resources to this when we don't even have individually selectable crucible game modes yet? Or Private matches? Your priorities, as usual, are not consistent with what your community is asking for - are you sure you're really listening to us? Because it doesn't sound like it...

    • holy grenades batman. I'm not a fan. Not gonna lie. As someone in the minority of people that loves D2 pvp. the March update kinda terrifies me. I am excited to try and find a middle ground and make a larger percentage of the community happy with the sandbox, but I'm scared it will be way overcorrected. I just don't understand when reading about changes seeing numbers like 40% change to anything. what could be so wrong that you need to adjust it by 40%? and are you actually prepared to deal with all the side affects that will spiderweb across the sandbox from any numerical change of that scale? I hope you are. Because even if it is in the direction the vocal majority is upset about, you don't really have many more chances to get them back (if their comments online are to be believed anyway :D )

      • In our podcast this week we talk a lot about crimson doubles and some of the other changes coming down the road. I know its a long shot, but it would pretty sweet if someone at Bungie saw this :)

      • It's fun (imo) but that's it. Not rewarding or fulfilling, just fun. My one complaint is though, where is the gear? Where are the guns? I mean me and my friend ground 2v2 for 4-5 hours. Killing it, but for what. Shaders? Sparrows that are just fodder (soon to be bright dust) for stuff in evercrapverse that might interest me? In those 4-5 hours I got a whopping 5-6 crimson engrams. 2 ghosts, 2 sparrows, and a bunch of shaders. I (we) want unique gear with the grind. Not reskinned bs. I'm literally only playing this game still because it and the XP pass are already paid for, and there is no refund. D2 bs has actually made me think owning a PS4 all together. I say I'm just ranting, but you know I'm not alone in this remark. Figure it out. Tic toc bungie......

        it gave me a Déjà vu .. it confirmed that people in Bungie doesn't understand the word balance. it's either grenade charge after one min or more. or it's a grenade spam all over the place .. that line in between .. is invisible to you guys almost all the time. to answer your question; the game mode sucks because doing nothing but avoiding grenades that seeks you throughout the map isn't fun. getting into a game of grenade volleyball isn't fun. here's a hint ; Grenades that seek targets has an advantage over the static ones .. so in return they should have lower damage right? in order to be balanced .. right?

        • Gave it a shot and it wasn't terrible. I'm a solo runner so that is to be expected, but really it isn't that bad and I like the shaders and the exotic sparrow.

        • As a solo Crucible player I found Crimson Days 2v2 playlist to be very aggravating. Constantly going up against 2 stacks whilst I have a random on my team was not fun. The main issue being teams camping the power ammo spawn and just chucking nade after nade usually skip grenades that force you away from them due to the relentless tracking ability. Also joining games in progress was quite irritating but this seems to be a persistent issue with D2 crucible not just with this event. Overall I felt after one or two good games I was just constantly being put up against double stacked teams exclusively arcstrider hunters with very little hope of competing. I wonder what match making criteria was in place SBMM or CBMM? I don't really like the crucible in D2 and this event hasn't changed my feeling on it. The sandbox of D2 crucible is still quite meh to me and with the buffs gained from this event it still shows the lame hand-holding team shot snooze fest. I honestly don't know what to make of the PvP in this game anymore or who it tries to appeal too. Actually I can expand that out to the entire game I suppose. I'm left with overall feeling of meh and apathy towards this franchise.

        • The fast spawning of grenades really shows how imbalanced they are between the classes. The titans class lighting pulse grenades are rediculous! I wish my grenade on any other class would kill with out having to pump major shield breaking damage to assist the grenade.

        • Exotic sparrows break down into marks after a few dismantles. I’ve broken down two now that are not dust. “Every reward item obtained from a Crimson Engram can also be dismantled for Bright Dust, including event-specific shaders.” I want my 1000 dust that’s in game money. I’m sooooooo done!!!!!!

          • I find the game mode a lot of fun. I like our abilities have a higher recharge rate. I lot complaints on grenade spam, yet we asked for more ability just makes me laugh. But in all honesty grenade balance feels off. Why do titans get 2 pulse grenades without have to use an exotic slot? Also the area of effect grenades work great, but the rest don't do much. Players should get rewarded for hitting a player with a grenade not just because some stood or walked into splashing grenade. I think the event could have lasted longer to be honest. Maybe twice as many matches as call to arms. And then maybe an additional power engram to the event item upon completion. This one bummer about live events in D2 there is no active way to increase your power or add to your stash. I'm not saying power should drop like candy but a power engram upon milestone completion would be nice. Class ability recharge I think should stay at the games release level. Too much of this in PvP kind of cuts into the fun.

          • My crimson doubles experience in d2: Logged onto the game - loaded up a match and quit. PvP in d2 is extremely boring. Have played a total of I think 1-2 games of crimson doubles. I only log on if friends message me to play pvp with them and half the time thee conversations just end up “d2 blows, or when is d1 trials random rolls coming back” Just FYI most people like to feel powerful or have items in game that were challenging to acquire so they can show them off and be feared and coveted by others.... those who disagree.... well I’ll just leave it at that. Longtime d1 player - I’ve actually started branching back out playing other games since the d2 fiasco. I’m sure your teams that work for Bungie are bright individuals however, might want to shake up who is working on each portion of the game as clearly it’s not working.

          • I think the crimson is fun and interesting. I just don't like how fast the grenade recharges too quickly as some character have the ability to throw multiple of grenades/Items. Coming from a 4 verses 4, you have to rely on the strategic of staying close to your partner to avoid revealing your location to the enemy, and to avoid super attack being too close. I guess the grenade alone would have prevented that. The map design felt large and awkward having to change the population size. My partner and I end up having to investigate the far end of the map to realize the enemy is not there. When we eventually found the enemy, we end up having to either camp or constantly throw grenade. We'd call this the dominance zone. Once the player founds it's zone, it progress and defend themselves as if they were capturing the flag (That is until the times round out and we've matched the score) The sudden death round really changes the way we face the gameplay as we're limited to only one life, and we must capture the points regardless of your health/partner health. (Thus realizing it's a sudden death! Har!) The reward that my partner and I receive was somewhat confusing. Exotic sparrow and emotes after playing four matches of the crimson seems like this is a very easy item to obtain. Now granted, the sparrow and the emotes doesn't impact the gameplay as much as I'd expect, but sometime in the future will be used as a collection to show future generation the trophy I did to earn it. I have not tried the raid or the strikes during the crimson yet, but it seems like this was not promoted to the player as much as it used to. If I saw a icon stating that you would have some chances to win great reward for completing an event or a challenge, then I'd give it a try.
