Have you got to play in the 2v2 Crimson Days playlist yet?
If so, I want to know what you think?

1 Replyneah it does not matter who wins, I got crimson engram and I lost 3-0 match, once I was so bad in a match I had 0 ... yes 0 not a single kill lost the match ofc but I got the exotic event sparrow... all you have to do in this event is be extremely relaxed and do as many matches is possible.
-
If Emblems, Sparrows and Emotes is all You got to offer then sorry I'm not even thinking about logging in.

Not played it yet and have no intention of playing it as the items you get from it aren't worth it. Need more incentive to want to play it. (useful loot and not cosmetic items). Played Crimson Days during Destiny 1 but obviously that was different and there was always an incentive to play Crimson Days and Crucible in general. I agree with those who are having to go in solo; that isn't fair. Should have two types - one for fireteams, one for solo players which are matched up against other solo players.

It’s fine how it is. Everyone can counter each other, just be smart about it OR copycat their tactics. And grenades BELIEVE IT OR NOT can be avoided/almost avoided. Things can always be improved, but nothing big comes to mind. I dislike player versus player, but this isn’t as bad or as stressful as Trials puts you through.

Edited by Grug: 2/14/2018 11:31:27 PMAll im seeing are a lot of nightstalker hunters, holding hands, using the same stale meta weapons. Super cool idea though. Just make the hunters sit in the corner with their antiopes and dire promises so i could enjoy the matches a bit more. But when i dont have the hunter butt buddy issue holy crap this mode is a lot of fun.

Crescendoll_5555One More Time - old
Ran into some hunters just spamming skip grenades. I felt like I couldn't do anything and it was really frustrating. Maybe cut back on the skip's damage and decrease the time to kill for all weapons. That way even if they got all their grenades off, I could at least get a trade. Edit: Decrease, instead of increase. -
Just two things for me... 1.Better Map rotations. After about 12-15 matches only 1 of the new map. 2.Punish people who leave mid round. Was down 0-2 and my partner left. Give maybe a 5 minute or 10 minute penalty from joining a crucible match for leaving. Coward! Other than that I have really enjoyed the 2v2. Make it permanent

3 RepliesPlease check your cheating reports and discipline players accordingly. Not just during Crimson Days, but like 3 times a week at least. Im tired of people purposely manipulating their connection, and its happening more frequently because they know you're not doing anything about it and have never done anything about it.

4 RepliesHave you read this article? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.usgamer.net/amp/how-destiny-2-failed-its-fanbase-analysis

1 ReplyMatch after match against invis Hunters was enough for me to shut the game off and pick Fornite back up.

It’s been a lot of fun! Love the rewards, nock out system for the rewards. Crimson doubles is a blast! Overall, I’m glad bungie made the right changes with the loot over the dawning event.
-
I can honestly say that it is the best live event in d2 to date, that being said its not very good. the rewards are a meh at best, but the game mode is somewhat fun. now if their was a way for multiple things of heavy to spawn, and teams getting heavy that would be fun.
-
4 RepliesHonestly, I feel the change to the way you’ve got Doubles running now isn’t great. There was nothing wrong with just simple Doubles like the last Crimson Days. This game is stale enough as it is and now we have to go through round after round of ‘Misdirected’ invis Hunters and Titan Pulse Grenades. 2v2, time and score limit is what it should’ve been.

Reskinned rubbish. Cheats been going since destiny one. Can Bungie do anything about it ? No I doubt it is been going on too long. lag switching, mod controller, aim assist more and more and more. heavy ammo turns this game into a crutch weapon frenzy it is no fun and no skill. hunters are on fairly balanced towards their favour with all the ways to manipulate the radar. the loots in Crimson days is much like before Crimson days you sell us KFC, Crimson days comes up and you give us the box for free

Edited by Gothic Gaymer: 2/14/2018 10:33:46 PMI like what happened with the engrams. I like the new shaders (though they look kinda meh on my warlock, who is my main character.) I like the new exotic sparrows and the ghosts. I HATE the playlist. I hate PvP with a passion, I only play it because strikes are boring and repetative, there is no point in patrolling, and once your fireteam gets over three, there is NOTHING ELSE TO DO that is "casual." Forcing me into PvP for a holiday event is really frustrating, particularly with how broken PvP feels. Once the boyfriend gets his exotic sparrow, which I hope is really frickin' soon, I will not touch the playlist again. EDIT: That said, from an aesthetic perspective, I like the Burnout map. Burning Shrine was a good map (in D1...)

17 RepliesEdited by Pupaone: 2/14/2018 7:14:09 PMi like this game mode....... BUT, you guys need to do something with the pulse granades from Titans. 20+ games and all i can see is that blue pulse in my mouth the whole match.
-
I will not play D2 again untill real changes land the game. Right now it is a loot shooter game with out real loot. Cosmetics are no loot, repeated armor and weapons are no loot, so there is no loot at all.
-
9 RepliesWhy did you put heavy in the game mode? It would have been really fun it it wasn't there, but now its just who gets the colony first the game mode and its super unfun because of it. Every round revolves around it and it sucks.
-
Edited by ajm53092: 2/14/2018 10:01:50 PMWhy separate players after each game. Kind of seems to ruin the spirit of the event.
-
1 ReplyMY thoughts are that the decision makers at Bungie have failed us all by focusing too heavily on PvP and the e-sport pipe dream
-
You ruined it by changing the buff mechanic, it should have stayed the same as in Destiny 1. When my partner dies I should get faster reload and recovery so I can attempt a 1v2 play. Especially so if partner died during the battle for power ammo, you are now 1 against 2 and one of them has power ammo. It's mind blowing that your game designer thought that is "fun".
-
I enjoyed it on my Titan, won all 5 matches as a solo-player with matchmaking. But something is seriously wrong with Warlocks in PvP, they are slow and weak and easily killed whilst in Super, even with Masterworks armor x 4 equipped
-
Please nerf fusion rifles

Edited by Cayde Wallace: 2/14/2018 9:35:44 PMI think Bungie has done well with Crimson Days! Burning Shrine redux is an awesome map!!! I love 2v2 and the rates of supers and abilities. I love the drop rates and rewards. Kudos Bungie!!! The next aspect will be getting the special weapons back in the proper place so we can snipe during pvp! Also, 3v3, 6v6, rumble, elimination like old trials, shoot...I even miss rift...lol.

5 RepliesEdited by Dopamine: 2/14/2018 6:43:51 PMIn terms of the whole event, I think it's a step in the right direction. The lack of a way to buy crimson engrams definitely helps earn back some trust from the community, but its only a first step. If it continues then I think that Destiny might have a good future. The crimson doubles mode is good, but it can be improved. Mostly, a lot of people think it should have been elimination. Without elimination it just turns into camp the power ammo simulator. Besides that, the buff system works well with the aesthetics of the event and in game aswell. The decision to make crimson engrams drop with bright engrams was great. Pve players could still participate without having to play PvP so that's great. My only gripes where that loot dropped too frequently so I think the more rare drops won't be as valuable to the community. People loved weldfire from WotM not only because it looked great but because it was rare. Also the ghost shells were a little underwhelming. Maybe a chalk heart ghost or a return of the ghosts from d1 would have been nicer than just red and white ones. The exotic sparrow is my favorite sparrow in the game now though. One big problem that is the same with the dawning is the fact that I don't want to use my crimson shaders because they will run out. The red and black is one of the better shaders in D2 but I can't use it. Over all I think its a good step in the right direction. Keep up the good work guys. Edit: just realized this was about the 2v2 gamemode my bad. Still hope you see the feedback about the event as a whole.
