  • Oh one thing if forgot to mention earlier: Damn auto rifles. I mean seriously what where you thinking? They snipe you across the map wit auto rifles it's complete bullshit. Scout rifles should easily dominate on long distance over an auto rifle but they don't. Fix it damn it

    • It's absolutely horrendous if you solo queue. Somewhat fun if you play with a friend. PvP is still trash in general imo

        • Doubles still sucks just like it did in D1. Maps are too big for so few players. Heavy is 100% not needed and actually harms the gametype(particularly as the mechanics of crimson days requires players bunching up). Spawns are completely dumb half the time spawning a player across the map from their partner even though there are closer spawn areas, sometimes even right next to their teammate.

          • Here's some feedback.. Get better at your job. The community told you years ago Crimson doubles was a dumb event in a post apocalyptic sci fi shooter. Yet you brought back the exact same event. Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's day are not things people play Destiny for.

                  I think you've hit a middle ground. On the one hand people love the boosted abilities and supers because it takes them back to D1 archetypes and after all Destiny is about Space Magic, not really reenacting fighting in the trenches from either World War. On the other you're hamstrung by the over reliance on team shooting to succeed (the inference of the game mode to Valentines notwithstanding) that is magnified tenfold and people can still complain about the usual perceived deficiencies of the current sandbox. You know what you need to do the generally improve the crucible, therefore game sandbox, it's been asked for repeatedly. 1) Lower TTK by about 20/25% 2) Increase Super recharge rates. The notion that less means more here has always been false. There aren't many 'special occasions' for you super when everyone pretty much gets them at the same time once only. 3) Buff pulses and hand cannons. 4) Add snipers, shotguns and fusions to the energy slot. 5) Add machine guns to the power slot, buff/improve grenade launchers again. 5a) The colony should take 3 bots to kill a fully shielded Guardian, but increase the magazine to five or six. 6) Make game modes selectable. 7) Make trials 3x3 and Elimination. Competitive 4x4. Quickplay 6x6. I remember the speech made by the Gameplay Director, extolling 'excellence in the Crucible'. Yet fundamental flaws in your approach have hindered this goal drastically. I've said it elsewhere and I'll repeat it here - variety brings specialism, specialism brings excellence. Currently, the sandbox provides very little variety of game style to adopt.

                  I'll keep this short the change made from the dawning to crimson days engrams are amazing, my main issue is the rewards. ALL RE SKINS. Thats not fun. I can just take a Dawning ghost and put a red shader on it. Every sparrow is a re skin of the exotic sparrows. All these re skins need to stop i literally dismantle everything.

                • It goes pretty fast. some maps played out much better than others. It was fun for a while, but I'm not huge into pvp on destiny.

                • I have been enjoying most matches either solo or with a clanmate. Besides running into the occasional double nightstalker and jemini jester (which is fine, do your thing) I have been enjoying the engagements. Lot of 1v1s, speed is good with the buffs, grenade spam is a bit much but still tolerable as it works both ways. Reward system feels better. I have already cycled through the loot pool and I believe I am at about 600 kills, some public events, and 3 strikes. So not bad. Rewards are mostly cosmetic but still ok given it's just crimson days.

                • Played 2 rounds. Won both of them. 3rd round - opposing team gets 3 kills with supers to our 1 kill... the next 50 seconds, we chased after them while they run and hid. They won the round. I am not having fun. I am bearing it long enough to get the few eververse stuff I am missing and then I am done. NF and Raid rewards were nice. I think that the engram work has been better and applaud the attempt at changing stuff with crucible to make things unique.... but it doesn't work with the current state of the game.

                • I'm done with Crimson Days. The hunters with invisibility, jemini jesters, antiope-d, smoke, shade step insta reloads, quickfang, extreme mobility, 1 punch kills, and invincible sword animation frames are too much to take!. I mean, it's ridiculous how much faster they are. It's really no fun to play against 2 skilled NS hunters using any other class. I even got DDOSed in a game early as well as played someone using a lag switch. It's so sad... and infuriating that nothing is done about it. I like the idea of the speed increase, love the faster grenades and supers, but I'm so sick of the stupid skill difference and obvious balance difference between the hunters (nightstalkers mostly) and any other class. And I know you all are awesome and I suck, but I'm not talking to you. I"m talking to @cozmo and @bungie. You could fix this whole game by completely separating the PvP from the PvE games. Make PvP weapons only usable in PvP and PvE weapons and skills usable only in that mode. This game has way more PvE players than PvP, so why not actually work towards keeping those people happy?

                    1. Its more dynamic than 4v4...and the maps give the game more room to breathe. The reduced cooldowns of our abilities was a MAJOR improvement, and needs to comeback to the entire game. 2. The game suffers from the same problems that 4v4 does with regard to the sandbox. a. Team shooting is the only effective way to play. b. There are very few options or builds that allow players to individually disrupt team shooting. So c. Set fireteams have an almost insurmountable advantage over matchmade teams. d. You see the same builds over, and over and over again. I pretty much saw nothing but Arcstrider Hunters running Shinobu's Vow and Scatter grenades, and Striker Titans using pulse grenades. Because they were two of the few builds that would allow people to reliably break up team shooting. So I'm betting engagement numbers are going to be low. Especially by solo players. Because whether or not you have fun is almost entirely dependant upon the quality of the player you get matched with. If you get a good one who understands how to work together as a team....its a fun, competitive game. If you get matched with someone who runs around like a headless chicken....you're going to get rolled, and there isn't anything you can do to stop it if you're up against good players.

                  • I enjoyed it very much to be honest, i loved the fact that my rifts came back so quickly, seeing as i main storm caller, spam of pulse nades is nice as well, it is the kind of pvp that's good for learning a single persons play style and yesterday i remembered why i enjoyed using better devils, i had fun learning my clan mates play style and it made for funny moments especially when i whipped out the colony and shot spiders into the opposing teams face and watching them run, Quick paced rounds that didn't make me hate my partner. however i did get matched up with a few people who threw the game at least once or twice but on monday while i was playing with another admin i made plays that i havent been able to pull of in the longest of time, and im extremely pleased with this gametype as it encourages higher level of team play and call outs on a lower skill bracket so to speak, I do hope that most major holidays get a tower event, I WANT A SAINT PATRICK'S DAY EVENT THAT HAS A CRUCIBLE 3V3 OR 6V6 HELL 8V8 ON A LARGE MAP FOR SNIPING Emerald Green, and Gold shader's AND GIVE US A TAP DANCING EMOTE WITH SAINT PATRICK DAY GEAR XD GIVE US A SPARROW THAT LOOKS LIKE ITS MADE OF WHISKEY BARRELS AND FLAGGON'S XD it will be hilarious seeing people tap dancing

                    Dear Cozmo As a Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 player I wonder where the company loyalties are with the player base, the reason I ask is because it has been 2 months since the Dawning event when we asked for a eververse rework and the incentives to be reworked as well as more ways to earn bright engrams . I am concerned that bungie thinks the ghost shell in the raid was the answer to this problem , it is not . It does not ease the issue on people who do not have a raid team with the limited population , some do not like to group with elitest jerks you know (sorry bad experiances) Give us more items with the bright engram buff , it's to elusive to benefit other players who play as well

                      Crimson days was already my least favorite event of d1 and all the stuff added for CD looks like crap so I don't even have a reason to force myself to play this event. You guys really shit the bed ruining dawning and expecting us to thank you for CD. I actually wanted the dawning armor but I guess better luck next year when d2 actually releases. D2 worst and most expensive Kickstarter ever.

                      I love it. The only thing I will say(and this goes for all your big events) is I know it might be hard and it might take time but,.. please stop using Re-skinned weapons/sparrows/ect. Make new 3D meshes and designs exclusive for each event like the Trials weapons. You'll made new armor for IB but re-skinned the weapons. I'm not sure if it was for the sake of time but it would be worth it to make new models :) I don't mind if you re-skin stuff for small things but don't do it for big events like Crimson Doubles/Iron Banner/ect, ect.
