Have you got to play in the 2v2 Crimson Days playlist yet?
If so, I want to know what you think?
Post your feedback below. Thanks!

So, shinobu's & skip grenades are OP in this 2v2, but don't nerf them! Sure they are pissing me off because non hunters can't do crap not to die and hunters control heavy. BUT, don't make the mistake u made in destiny 1 and nerf everything good to make a boring game. Buff the axion and the pulse grenades and make everyone even!!! You've already made 1 mistake by nerfing pulse grenades instead of buffing the others. SO BUFF for equality! Remember this Bungie, grenades should be able to kill you if u can stick people or whatever. So make them all lethal, bring back special weapons, make meles lethal, bring back heavy machine guns and make supers regenerate faster and you will have a super fun pvp experience!

The crimson doubles playlist has been amazingly fun so far! But seriously, a two man team of arcstriders with shinobus wows is nigh unbeatable. You get the grenades back so fast and you die from two skips and they throw 4 all the time!!!! Its horrible you have no chance against them cause they track so well... please notice me sempais

Actually really love it but I'm probably biased since I play with 1 other person all the time. My ONLY gripe is the spawning. That issue isn't limited to Crimson Days though IMO, but if your partner is a good distance away and there is zero combat occurring there is no reason you shouldn't spawn near your teammate. I've had many a face palm already spawning on the opposite side of the map with the enemy between us.

Well I would rather Bungie to remove the match making system since if you use it, you will be at a huge disadvantage connexion wise vs a team. The lag is more than noticeable. Or you could match solo against solo. The lag advantage would switch from game to game and in the long run it could be kinda even. But still even though this is my favorite game, this game is so laggy compared to other online games(for pvp but pve as well). I understand that 0 lag is impossible but how come with the same setup I’m experiencing more lag in a 2vs2 than a 16 vs 16 game... I tried every setup over the last 3 years LAN vs WiFi, bough a high end router, quadruple my internet speed and still no real difference... To be fair there are progress over Destiny 1 in terms of lag during a crucible game but at the cost of having “contacting Destiny 2” flashing very often during pve content which is really annoying.

I love the game mode! I to have someone i enjoy playing with and both of us work well together. We dominate in this game mode. It completely changes the way Crucible is played. I would love to have 2v2 for forever! Sometimes (at least for me) its hard to rouse a group of 4 Guardians to join me but this totally simplifies it. Also love the new map "Burnout". Great for swords and missiles and Bug grenades!

I was a little confused on what the perks did when I first entered the crucible, since there wasn’t anything visible list, before entering the crucible. But that aside, I think it plays very smooth. I enjoy the idea of sticking close to your Allie, and engaging the enemy as a team. Some may feel differently but as this game mode, it works well. It’s fun much like mayhem. Just not as potent..!

No more Crimson Days milestones? Only 1:30 matches to get "new" map? Game is so broken. #freedomofspeech

Edited by Skybreaker: 2/16/2018 2:32:04 AMJust the freaking Nightstalker spams Smokes and Cloaks so goddamn much! Which are just Jail-Free CRUTCH! Be blinded, no mini map and have a Cabal Centurion sitting on your back for 5 seconds!? That is just NO in all the wrong reasons. And the cloaks... just AUUUUUGH!!! Negates Aim-Assist, become a ghost in a bright map Looking you Mercury Crucible maps and can extend it with Rat King and Graviton Forfeit. That is a Fun Police's load out.

It's the most fun I've had since the game came out! I'm really enjoying it. Good job guys. *Another minor feedback* Can you make it to where we can at least lock on to the invisible hunters? It's bad enough they can disorient you but not being able to lock on to them is getting quite annoying.

Edited by Raze: 2/15/2018 11:54:09 PM-Slightly reduce ability spam, JUST SLIGHTLY -Reduce time to kill to match D1 -This a problem of the game but, rockets are still annoying because its the only useful power weapon (sometimes the acrius is used, but still) -Rewards suck, I tired of the cosmetic grind. I want weapons with good perks (not the boring ones we have) Other than that, Crimson days is great! I like the fast paced movement.
-
I liked it always I was wanting a new mod that would work in a similar fashion to increase the speed of my ability recharge. I suggested to be an exotic mod. these types of mod would be used to give you bonuses for you playing in certain ways, similarly to how you did to the prestige raid modifier Marksman, such and such excluding the the weapon loadout.

1 ReplyI actually took a break from the game for almost a month now, buried myself in warframe. BUT, one of my clan mates convinced me to jump on and check out crimson doubles. And surprisingly I was very happy. The pace is fast. The abilities charge quickly. Have had lots of clutch moments. So far this is the closest I’ve felt to D1 in a long time. Please keep adapting the game in this direction. Oh and please for the love of god get rid of the token system. Sorry but I had to include that.
-
I like this variation of clash, definitely better than countdown and survival, this is what trials should be, minus the absurd grenade/ability spam....matches are quick and the sudden death round is fast and intense. I would like to see this return as a 3v3, my only issue is with 2v2 if u solo que, teammate leaves match, then ur screwed...

For anyone to offer you feedback would require people to still be playing the game. The only people left are the people who could literally catch you robbing their house and would still keep playing the game. Good luck selling another DLC, expansion, or sequel. People are done with you. You've burned way too many bridges.

Edited by D3v1ndr4: 2/16/2018 1:05:51 AMI enjoy PVE content more than I ever will PVP. I really like holiday events...but brah.....😒...why only PVP for Crimson Days? Yeh you said Nightfall, fine. You said Raid, fine. Neither of which i do much of becuz of the time consumption of getting in a party, but thats my perogative. But what about Quickplay? What about the other PVE content like Strikes and visiting worlds to do things? Every holiday/special event should include the ENTIRE game, not just a really shitty corner of what is essentially an already broken mechanic in PVP. I, like some ppl on here, totally enjoyed alot of Destiny 1. Sure it wasn't perfect, but there were things to look forward to. To Do. I actually skipped the entire week after faction week because i knew you guys would not do anything the next week. Honestly? Every week should be some sort of event. As it is, not only do you not hold my attention to a game i really like, but then even the part i dislike, i hate soooo much (PVP) because of the myriad issues concerning it. There should be more options for crappy players, like me, so we can enjoy it more. I have no problems with the competitive side/trials, however i sorely dislike not being able to accomplish everything in a game i purchased. But I'm sure if you could do more for ppl like me, we'd overlook the crappy parts and enjoy what we do like. Please do more for the average players, i.e. your fan base. P.S. - Why give color schemes to ships when we can't really enjoy them? The glow of light off of planets discolor them any way, and the only real way for anyone to even begin to appreciate your special ship is by having to inspect you. Really??!! Why not add minor space battles to use said ships? Also, BRING BACK SRL!! for crying-out-loud. Rotate it in the previously mentioned "event every week". It can't be that hard. Furthermore, bring back those progress event booklets from D 1. It gave me something else to do and look forward to, but with real rewards, not emblems and ghosts that no one really sees or pays attention to. P.S.S.- Bring back those databases. I like to see what I'm missing and why I'm missing it. P.P.S.S. - Bungie, go see what Blizzard is doing to make proper content fixes. What happened to you people?! You made HALO!! What is this phoned-in BS?

Doubles is horrible with this meta. Heavy spawns too damn early. Whoever gets heavy has too much of an advantage. Matchmaking with random‘s against teams sucks. Would be nice to have an event that actually introduces new guns that you might use all the time instead of deleting. But I’m sure the faction rally will fix that right

I love 2v2. Finally somethi g other than 4v4. You know what introducing 2v2 made me realize what I don't like about Destiny 2? It is the lack of variety. Lack of variety in subclass builds, types of engagements in PvP, amount of supers per game, all of this and also the lack of playlists. Add variety and the game will succeed. Probably too late but I know I will play if fun.
-
1 ReplyYes! I think 2v2 should stay and I would definitely play it over 4v4 crucible. Really fun to just queue up with a friend and play on burnout

READ this article, MAKE a screenshot, PRINT it and HANG it in the office by the guys who FORCED you to build and rebuild destiny 2 FULLY around eververse !!!!!!!! https://www.usgamer.net/articles/how-destiny-2-failed-its-fanbase-analysis

I think it's terrible, in the same way that the game is terrible. It's unplayable against 2 hunters who are using invis. This game sucks

Let's start with the positive. Glad to see Burning Shrine back, and I am interested to see how it plays in other game modes where the sun glare is not a factor anymore. Now, on to doubles.... So, you've taken the dynamic of team shooting (which I personally find to be ruining a lot of the crucible) and made it the main point? Oh, and upped the ante on grenade spamming wambo-combo and suppressor as well? This makes me feel like the point of community comments is still getting lost. I am an average crucible player (at best) and worked really hard to get better over my D1 playing time, but even in D1 I could encounter a 2 on 1 and occassionally with some luck and skill come out alive. That is totally lost in D2, and it kills the sense of fun and accomplishment for me. To turn around and basically apply all the things that kill the real fun and accomplishment in this game (pvp) by dialing up making everyone use the same tactics and weapons even more than in D1 is just flat out tone deaf. I do love the changes to the Crimson Engrams and also for the Raid Armor, even if the latter coukd still use more work...(cough, perks not damn mods, cough)... I hold on to hope that this series will return to better days, but to be honest, I went back and played D1 recently and had more fun there than I do in D2. I like most D1 people who have been around since the beta wanted you to take what was great about D1 after 3 years and enhance that, not revamp the whole thing and take a giant step backwards. Sitting through 3 more years to get the game I love seems a lot to ask. I am being patient, I am hopeful, and I want you guys yo succeed. I hope that pays off...but this event didn't do enough to convince me...even if it did give me a slight glimmer of hope on parts of it.

I’m still underwhelmed with the current state of the crucible. Doubles used to be my favorite playlist. I was excited and open to looking past the downfalls of D2 crucible. I loaded into my first match with a match made teammate on Tuesday, by the time my feet hit the ground I knew I was in for it as my partner climbed out the bathroom window while we were flying in. I stuck it out hoping that like D1 I’d have a more willing teammate show up and save the day. I should’ve cut my losses when I had the chance....but I’m stubborn and never back down from a fight. Either way, I got my ass handed to me and I haven’t participated since. I don’t know what the plans are for deterring players from ditching their teams in competitive but it needs addressed in a way that doesn’t leave players in a 2v1 (or 4v1) situation for an entire game. It sucks but that one match ruined this whole event for me
Have you got to play in the 2v2 Crimson Days playlist yet? If so, I want to know what you think? Post your feedback below. Thanks!
Its fun despite no loot to be had for crucible(I have it all and then some).. But doubles focuses on heavy a bit too much. Those who control heavy control the match. Can be frustrating if you're not matched with the right pair... Sometimes the same pair twice. Maps repeat, too. It almost reminds me of trials of Osiris (the pace of the matches, etc.) and that is what appeals to me. The 2v2 option should always be available. Loot would be nice.. I have enough sparrows and ghosts. Need interesting weapon rolls and ways to customize my armor and subclass like d1. I am missing the variety. But that's a different can of worms.
