Have you got to play in the 2v2 Crimson Days playlist yet?
If so, I want to know what you think?
Post your feedback below. Thanks!

1 ReplyI think a 2v2v2v2 would have been more exciting. Four teams, 2 players per team. It could've been called "Lovers' Quarrel", or something equally cheesy. I also think it would be cool if there was an option to have a 2 player team take on a lost sector with double the amount of enemies and a time limit to successfully loot it for extra rewards and experience. This is just an idea to create a new gameplay opportunity without having to create entirely new content.

2v2 is no fun at all, do a 6v6 next time please
-
Yah 2 playlists, one for singles aka solo ques only, and one for partners aka fireteams.
-
Its really fun but you should separate solo players from teams

Crimson Days is awesome. The rewards are flavorful and the PvP is very laid back. For future crimson days events, I think sudden death should be indicated a bit better to players because there were a few times when my teammate didn't know about it, causing us to lose. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the event and managed to nab Carina Nebula for that upcoming G Lance buff.

5 RepliesStop providing junk loot that is for cosmetic purposes only. From the first time luke stated he was hoping folks would want to “grind for x shader”, I stated that I didn’t want to grind for cosmetic junk only. I don’t know why anyone wants to just grind for cosmetic loot. Directly sell cosmetics, but don’t make us grind for cosmetics.

1 ReplyIts crap. The loot is ugly, the shader colors are dim and ugly. I rarely had a team mate that cared about winning. They'd just dance or suicide leap and go 0-6. How many more sparrows, shaders and ghost shells can you possibly put into this game. I mean c‘mon. You can't give us actual content so you just inundate and drown us with this crap, Lazy. What does it matter if they tune the exotics and give us sandbox updates. You'll still be playing the same crap missions and strikes. They're taking away a nf timer..Woohoo all is right with d2 now..Ughh.

One word: HORRIBLE!!!
-
It's fun, but Nightstalkers being able to spam Snare/Smoke bombs with them being able to persist and add another enemy marker makes the radar borderline useless, expecially when there are two hunters.
-
Sucks! Nothing but spawn camping killing you as soon as you spawn.

1 ReplyD2 needs to be more rewarding. The rewards from this type of event (or any game play) should have an impact on game play to reward the effort. I have the best armour and weapons for my style of play, more tokens, ghosts and sparrows that have perks I already have don't interest me. That's why random rolls worked so well in D1. There was always something different to try from a familiar piece. Random rolls will be pointless for the armour system though, there are not enough different combinations for each item and I can achieve the desired effect with masterworks. So far though you have avoided discussing this subject and that of changing the weapon slot snipers, shotguns and fusions sit in. If you can't discus this now are you willing to say when you will? Personally I'm looking for more rewarding gameplay elsewhere, and that's really disappointing. I want a reason to keep playing.

3 RepliesJust had the exotic sparrow for the second time in 3 matches. Definitely haven’t had everything on the ‘checklist’ of rewards, so I’m guessing the no dupes thing isn’t quite working as intended. Also, is there some kind of cap on crimson engrams? Been playing for a couple of hours today and haven’t had a single one...

Edited by GrundleBeans: 2/16/2018 11:20:41 PMLoving the game mode. 2v2 Crimson Days was my favorite PvP event back in D1 and this one is too. I'm also liking the new round system. The part my teammate and I both don't care for is the mediocre rewards. A bunch of blah ghosts and sparrows mostly with random perks that every other ghost and sparrow get. The only thing we really cared about this time was getting the exotic sparrows and ornaments because they're actually unique and we want to collect the rarest stuff. Also not liking that you add in 2-3 shaders that can be obtained at any other time in the game. They're useless additions to the loot table as fillers to be dismantled. I'd rather get less rewards that are better or extras of the event shaders so I can dismantle those after I get enough. No weapons, no armor, and no special ghosts like the candy and chocolate ones from D1 are a bit of a disappointment, but the game mode is great. I'd play 2v2 doubles like this year round. [Edit] I think you also missed a great opportunity to include some PvE aspect to the event. We only seem to get PvP events, which is also disappointing. One of the more drawing aspects of the Rallies has been that in involves PvE. I don't see why you guys don't put more effort into coming up with either new, separate PvE events to go back and forth with PvP ones, or expanding events to include PvE activities.

1 ReplyCan we maybe get some loot thats not just a copy paste of existing loot? I'm not overly opposed to cosmetics as rewards but the whole 'apply your shitty consumable shaders to everything' system has made reskins an even bigger waste of time than d1. Making the loot obtainable by doing in game activities was a good step (going to Tess to cash in engrams is still boring af though) , but at the end of the day i pretty much already own all the loot available because none of it has any different perks and it all looks the same as every other ghost/sparrow.

It's still within current PvP boundaries with the slow ttk but the ability buff helps a little. So gun fights are still slow but the abilities I like.

Love the game mode. Very unique. Could probably make for a good 3v3 or 4v4 mode excluding the 3 effect (reunited, vengeance, drifting apart), but I’m fine with it being Crimson Days exclusive. Kinda wish power ammo spawned earlier the second time around. 10 seconds before the round ends at best is not that good.
-
It’s good. Night stalker invisibility is ruining the game though . Something needs to be done, it’s way too OP.
-
Enjoying the hell out it. Can't wait for the coming buffs.

1 ReplyHere are my thoughts, and I want this to serve more as feedback and not bashing the game or Bungie. Unfortunately, this event was lackluster and just was not enough of a reason to keep playing past the weekly milestones. The timing of the event is appreciated, to keep a sense of continuity across the customs first established throughout the first Destiny, but there’s nothing new here asking for players to come and play, nothing that builds upon how much we were supposed to have grown as a game and community. For the live event being Crimson Doubles, it was hoped that it would provide a variety of both 2 player fireteam activities across PvE and PvP game modes. With these live updates, can there be a way where the narrative of the story after the red war and Osiris conflict moves forward? Either by adventures or short quests? Sorry to drag this out, but again, the main issue is that there’s nothing new and it feels like a rehashed event from Destiny 1 with nothing significant added to it. Also, as a suggestion to making the live events more interesting to play, how about bringing back old exotics and PvP maps. As for those who miss the event, allow the cosmetic items be earned through Ikora Rey’s meditations. Can we have ammo synthesis back, please?

Good job on the list, would be fun to have a duo playlist in general or duos playlist with 3 or 4 teams total. I think the single heavy made it a bit bully so two heavies might make it more tactical in that regard. Otherwise the grenade and ability was very good
-
2 RepliesFix the spawning system. Spawning system is giving then other team easy wins.
-
3 RepliesMaybe less heavy next time, or randomize where the heavy drops!

The mode is amazing as I've seen mamy comments start below. HOWEVER; I have one complaint. The loot. This may be me and me only but I played Crimson Days for a good 7 hours yesterday (solo) and got 1 Crimson Engram, and the one that I obtained was when I was in a fireteam with a random. Please anyone who has had the same problem let me or Bungie know, I want to see if I'm the only one. I really hope you guys didn't pull another Three of Coins because in your Crimson Days fourm it said that you tweaked it for single-character play. To which I assume means without a fireteam. I have been getting 0 Crimson Engrams playing alone and as a collecter of the Exotic Emotes I am very angry. Please Bungie if you see this, help talk about it with me, or the community if this is a problem everyone is having, I would very much appreciate some feedback. Thank you for your time.

2 RepliesI have not received a single crimson engram playing doubles. (Roughly 8 hrs of gameplay) It was faster to get 2 engrams from leveling up rather than playing crucible. All in all, I really enjoyed the power I felt from overcharged supers and grenades. Maybe some armor with a fireteam perk next time as a reward ?

It's not perfect, but definately the best pvp event we had since launch. Could this be a monthly event like iron banner?

Loving the 2v2 dynamic and the "stay close" mechanic.. even when playing as a single player I've had enjoyable games... Can we keep it?
