If I had a tin hat, I'd say that the numbers are now so low, they are hiding how low the playerbase is
Edit
Removes tin hat. Numbers are back...and not looking too bad...considering
Edit 2
How the he'll is this post not dead now. There has got to be better things to talk about
-
3 RepliesNever forget, all trackers count d1 players together with d2 players. Those numbers you see are mostly by d1 players, pve and pvp
-
8 RepliesMan this game is dying hard. At least the forums are fun.
-
lol it's D2. Not much to talk about.
-
it usually goes up a but after an update, the goes down, and lower numbers than before each update.
-
Edited by Alaaris: 2/15/2018 7:44:55 PMOn guardian.gg is 145k now and on Destiny Tracker is 384k PvP/481k PvE. What is going on?
-
9 RepliesNope. Happens with each update. They'll be back up tomorrow.
-
10 Repliessince most of you are too busy trolling, i will let you in on a secret. this happens with every update. stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.
-

It does nothing but tell them something they already know & doesn't contribute anything to the game.

8 RepliesHow do people find these stats? Another question why do people care? Let’s be honest, most ppl know this game sucks compared to destiny 1 And let’s be more honest, destiny 1 wasn’t that good. It’s was just a nice game to play with friends. Wait did destiny 1 even happened? Or is that folklore?
-
I’d say they are still looking pretty abysmal, 285k in crucible during an event is pretty damn bad
-
Edited by MoonlightHare: 2/15/2018 4:44:20 PMI think that they remove the numbers when they fall below 200,000. On the occasions that they have not been there Guardian GG showed them as below 200,000. When they went above that figure they were back on Destiny Tracker. Just a theory
-
3 RepliesLet’s be honest, it’s not a surprise D2 pvp is up there with the worst multiplayer experience you can get,, slow, boring, lacklustre, played 10 matches you’ve seen every play there is to make, let’s hold hands and team shot everyone! Linear, monotonous, 30fps no dedicated servers so you get killed around corners, in my opinion there is to much light saturation on screen (between supers, nades, gunfire, movement then there’s the clunky shooting mechanics that doesn’t feel fluent, cohesive, get that feeling or sound that registers a crit shot like in D1, slow time to kill, 4v4, no choice the list goes on! It’s bad as bad can be!
-
1 ReplyJust over 700,000 are playing both D1 and D2 across all platforms. Disgraceful.
-
Not too bad... “Trials of the Nine participation, a good standard for judging Destiny’s health, recently had a 71,000 player weekend. In the first Destiny, for three years Trials participation never dropped below 145,000 players, even after months without a content update. Destiny 2 having half that many players in just five months is dire.” Yeah, it’s fine.

3 RepliesGood, maybe the sheep will stop parroting them back in the forums 10 times a day.
-
The numbers are removed whenever it drops below 200,000.
-
24 RepliesWhy dafuq does anyone care how many other people are playing the same game as long as you like it and have fun?
-
1 Replywhat are you talking about 8.4M Tracked Players Total 285.5K Crucible Players Yesterday 434.5K PvE Players Yesterday this is just comming from the tracker >.<
-
Wow, is that a planned thing now? I had no idea Bungie was becoming so thin skinned. I don't remember Massive and Ubisoft hiding their numbers when The Division was tanking.
-
Don't you have a meeting to oversee?
Or are you looking to form a new group for Destiny?
-
No, it isn't? https://i.imgur.com/AU7a4TQ.png

4 RepliesThis is probably because people take stats and don’t have a clue how to apply them properly. As long as I’m loading a match or strike within a couple minutes, I figure it’s doing alright.
