I haven’t played Origins but I’ve heard it’s good. My personal favorites would be AC3 and Black Flag. I enjoyed AC3 a lot contrary to what others think of the game and Black Flag is all around just a solid game. Hated brotherhood though.
-
Before Origins, I would've voted Black Flag. That's still a great game, but the reworks in Origins really took it up a notch. Having an actual combat system instead of constant counter spam makes it so much fun to play.
-
Haven't played Origins yet. Its on my list though. Just been to busy. Loved Black Flag though
-
Black Flag was my favourite, but now it's Origins. Absolutely loved Egypt in that game. Combat was fun too and Bayek's a great protagonist. Black Flag still will be my favourite AC OST though. Can't get away from the sea shanties.
-
Origins is the proper way to entirely change up a games formula, and honestly I hope it stays. This was amazing.
-
Black flag, but they're ALL still bad 👍

9 RepliesThese results.. sadden me. No love for AC2 or ACB. I loved AC3 but I know it was controversial for many. I feel like Origins is possibly the first AC game for many here.. I didn't find the story interesting honestly.
-
2 RepliesRevelations is my favorite. I just don't understand why people dislike it. I love how it wraps up Ezio and Altair's stories.
-
Don't lump Brotherhood and Revelations together. They're similiar on the surface but still different games and one is clearly better than the other. I'm sure Brotherhood would have as many votes as 2 separated.
-
It's close but I'm giving it to Origins. The setting was great, the story was one I was hoping to learn about for a while and the main character was good. Add to that the fact that they revamped combat and gear in a way that massively improved it. All around the best game of the series from my view.
-
AC2... Ezzio was the best main character hands down. So good they kept him for 3 games. Plus Italy was gorgeous and great tie ins with history were made. I mean we got to kill a -blam!-ing corrupt pope for gods sake.
-
1 ReplyRevelations > 2 > Origins > Brotherhood > Black Flag > 3 > Assassin's Creed > Syndicate. Haven't played Unity or Rogue.
-
7 RepliesWhat the actual -blam!- are these results? Has anyone ever played 2? Its one of the best games ever made!
-
Brotherhood is the best of the actual assassins creed games, while black flag is the most fun, and easily the best to recommend to anyone to play.
-
For me it’s Black flag and origins.
-
7 RepliesHahaha! Origins is currently leading the poll at 32%.
-
Dude assassin's creed 2 was the one that made the series so big now. Also I liked brotherhood because you could recruit assassin's and they can join you in battle and do a shit ton of stuff with them.

I would list AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations as a trilogy myself. That is the one I played the most and I played the original after I played AC2. I liked the original the story itself is what I remember the most about the game. AC3 I started several times before I was able to get into the game and enjoy it. Conner was bland after playing Ezio. But I did come to really like that game. Black Flag had my attention immediately I liked the pirate theme and loved the ship battles. I was able to accept it wasn't a typical assassin tale. This story brought emotion back to the series I thought. Being a loyal fan I preordered both Unity and Rogue, diving right into Unity and I don't think I ever finished it, due to the problems it had at launch. Rogue was a hidden gem to me, I like stories in games this one tied together several games. I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Isn't it being remastered? I may pick it up again. Syndicate started out really fun and fresh but lost momentum to me. I enjoyed the game but it isn't one I'd play again. Origins, beautiful, vast and has several fun aspects, but I put it down and haven't been tempted to start it again. It's a slow starter to me, reminds me of The Witcher 3 that way, which I now really like after playing through it a couple of times. Maybe Origins story has to be mined also, there is so much to do and so much leveling to get to the next main quest it starts to feel like a chore to me. To pick a favorite, it has be the Ezio story and the format they used for those three games. Those games are what I measure other AC games against.

I think AC 3 is the best one in the series. It has the best story and gameplay out of all of them. A very close second is Revelations and Brotherhood in my opinion. AC overall is one of the best series I have ever played. I'm glad it's still progressing and getting better.

Not fcking Black Flag, that's for sure.
-
Imo; Syndicate>Revelations>III>Unity>I>Brotherhood=II>Rogue>I>Black Flag>Origins
-
I wish ubisoft would make an open world pirate game with the gameplay of black flag. Not just the navel combat like skull and bones but also the exploration.
-
After Ezio's trilogy they kinda stopped being actual assassin games. You spend much less time hunting down targets than you do milling about with other things. Black Flag for example is a great pirate game.

Edited by SeventhIy: 2/12/2018 4:38:23 PM1. Brotherhood 2.2 3. Origins Black flag is fun but it’s story sucked and it requires to much ship upgrading
