Just saying, in D1 that booty was amazing. The female hunter was the hottest thing destiny had to offer and let's not lie to ourselves, they was the real reason hunters were mained by so many hahaha
But in D2 hunters are flat everywhere and hell even the sitting animation was messed with for the female hunters. I'm pretty sure no one required that change bungie 😂

2 RepliesI have to admit the female Hunter, when seated... Not bad for a video game character. I recently celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary though, sooo... Who here is old enough to remember Princess Daphne from dragons lair? That game pulled a lot of dollars from my pocket!

This might be sexist but my guess woman designers knew us guys stare at it everytime we play...so they flatened it out to make no bump in the trunk

1 ReplyWow, somebody's thirsty. The majority of the game you are in first person mode, so it's not a huge thing. That being said, it is ridiculous that they gender neutralize the female base so much. Most armor makes the female hunters look flat chested and no hips / booty. I have a male and a female hunter because I like the looks of different armor on each. We play these games because they are both fun and visually stunning. We choose to play as types of characters because of playing a certain role or persona. Take Horizon Zero Dawn for example. You have no option to play as a dude. Only as Aloy. Does that make the game less enjoyable for guys? Nope. Does it make it overly sexual for guys? Nope. While she is a good looking character, her outfits are not overly sexualized. Yet you can still plainly see she has an attractive female form. So when I'm playing my male hunter, I play as if I'm playing as Cayde-6. I play reckless and confident. When I play as my female hunter, I play it like I'm playing as either Samus from Metroid / Aloy from HZD / and a little bit of Lora Croft from Tomb Raider for the exploration. That means I'm calculated, crafty, stealthy, and reserved. That is the "role-playing" aspect of the game. Now for the sitting, I HATED the female sit pose in D1. I would rather the female sit be like the warlock one where it is somewhat of a meditation type sit. But for a hunter, I'm fine with the current one over the D1 version. Overall, I have to agree with the OP - give the female model some distinction. Put a little more chest, hips, and booty to the model. Not too much, we are very athletic after all.

Not into getting off on virtual booty, but I will agree that the body styles are very different, just like everything else in this sequel.

and most warlocks - male / female / gender questionable looks like the frontman for That band Placebo.

1 ReplyYou know, if you need to tell people this is satire (which obviously you decided to deliberately add that hashtag since your post backfired), perhaps you should simply edit it out completely. Also, like many other users here have said already,
Cringe
6 RepliesFeminists got triggered and screamed about the character model being too "sexy", and bungie loves to lean into PC, so now we have flat asses. RIP the booty..

1 ReplyEdited by GalaxySpider: 2/9/2018 5:43:24 PMCharackters in Destiny have no „naked“ base models like in most RPGs. The body is purely shaped by the design of the actual armor. For instance, the legs from the Frumious armor set give them rather thick thighs. That‘s not the case with any armor piece (with a proper base model this wouldn‘t be the case). About the booty. Well, I guess they have their reason. Could be a technical thing as well. More round things require a higher polycount. I‘m sure the less detailed character armor (in some cases) was the trade-off for the better environmental graphics and effects. Maybe a round booty had less priority here, lol. Which somehow is understandable.
