Did I just read Locked Loadouts for Prestige Mode Raids?
I could have sworn someone at Bungie said they weren’t going to do that.

2 RepliesThey said that the normal raid will be available at all times and the curated load outs mode is just an option. I actually think it sounds pretty cool, trying to figure out how to make certain weapon types work for each encounter.

It's worse than locked loadouts. It's pre determined loadouts. At least if they were locked you could choose the weapons but not be able to change them. This system is going to determine what weapons you're allowed to use. I know Bungie like telling us how to play the game, but really ? -

After reading it several times I can not say with 100% certainty what they plan to do beyond introducing the loadouts. Read one way this looks like a challenge mode that if you want you can do but disregard if you just want to run the raid normally. Then they keep bringing up Prestige and it makes it sound like if you don't use these loadouts you will not be able to load into the Prestige Raid or Lair. They said they did not want to have locked loadouts in the raid. And curated loadouts is not a locked loadout just by definition alone. So really they just need to come back and say oh hey we mean we are adding another level of challenges on top of the Prestige raid. And if you choose to do it this way you will also get these buffs, if not your gameplay will not be affected.

Either way, at most it's only one area of Raid content a week.
