Anyone know of any cool secrets, hidden areas/quests, Easter eggs, or just genuinely cool things to do? I’ve tried perusing through YouTube but haven’t found anything really. Figured I’d try the forums. And before you turn this in to another negativity thread about Destinys lack of content, or depth, or whatever else you sour pessimists have in mind. Just know we don’t care. We’ve already seen enough of that. And your comments are neither wanted, nor appreciated.
Sincerely, the Destiny community who still enjoy the game.

Good question. I miss the daily/monthly quests. Remember the original Sleeper quest? Only popped up on the 7th of the month? Things like that really gave you a good reason to log on regularly.
-
It's kinda why I really hated this game. Extremely linear, no side quests, no hidden gear, nothing really particularly special isolated to a few guardians. Hust generally generic.
-
There is the “enemy of my enemy” quest thing. Two different endings. One of which is pretty cool.

5 RepliesEdited by MithBesler: 2/8/2018 8:39:36 PMI was on Io last night waiting on a public event and saw a huge arse crater off in the background. There was some ancient ruins there, they really didn't look like Vex. Almost like someone saw Stonehenge and thought that would be a great design for a town. I so wanted to go over there and explore it.

The lake of shadows strike if you drive the opposite direction, from the first combat area, go through the tunnel, it takes you a bunch of wide open spaces. It feels like when we discovered the black spindle quest. But..... nothing to see or do
-
Well, I think the simple answer of “no” kind of says everything. Truthfully there is nothing.
-
Well you can get the Sagria ghost shell if you finish all Verses ... apart from that you have some lame things to do in the public areas like The Tower or The Farm but nothing that will wow you ... Ingame there is nothing.
-
There are a few things - you can find the videos on YouTube. On the farm you can get the ability to move faster, jump higher. Once you have that you can do other things. Similarly in the tower you can get the same ability by doing the floor is lava challenge. There is also a hidden section in the tower (in the hangar) where you can find the journal of Ana Bray. I believe this is a fore-shadowing of the next DLC. No hidden exotic quests or missions as of yet. Chris B has mentioned that they are looking into bringing back that type of content in the future. I've made a couple posts on the topic in feedback.

I believe the 1AU mission has some secret rooms and unique named enemies that nobody has yet figured out.

2 RepliesThere are definitely some areas, especially on Nessus that I run into and think, “where the heck am I?” Hard to explain where they are though. One if underground and not really marked until you get inside it. Looks like a lost sector, but isn’t. Also the big Well thing is pretty crazy. The other thing I can’t seem to figure out is the light pools that appear on the HUGE tree limbs on Nessus. Anybody know what is or what triggers it?

All this beautiful area & nothing was hidden.....anywhere Very unBungie

4 Replies"Sincerely, the Destiny community who still enjoy the game." How are the other 3 doing then? At least you have enough for a Crucible fireteam, yay. Must be tears though when it's strike or raid time. Flakes...lol.... Oh, to answer your post...yes.

Edited by BusyBadger: 2/9/2018 4:01:41 AM
Anyone know of any cool secrets, hidden areas/quests, Easter eggs, or just genuinely cool things to do?
There's a secret area once you get to The Farm where you can talk about any game, or whatever, else you want to talk about.

1 ReplyIt's d2 bro, no secrets at all
-
They're call lost sectors now....... Unfortunately
-
Good question. There are spires that start to form on Nessus but I still don’t know what they do. I need to look into this. I assume it’s like the ring events.
-
2 RepliesTo my knowledge, the closest D2 comes to hidden areas is the Lost Sectors (which are conveniently labeled on the map. Boo, says I. They can't be THAT lost if they have map markers). The only 'Easter egg' I've ever found is the thing in the farm that makes you move really fast. Plus a lore scannable where your Ghost wonders whatever happened to the Exo Stranger, and if she's okay. Past that, I don't think there IS anything.

1 ReplyThere are some really cool hidden areas in the game. Unfortunately, they are all empty. It looks like these were meant to contain hidden stuff but either were never filled due to time/resources or they were purposefully placed so that they could stick stuff in there in a future dlc...
-
Not really an Easter egg but if I'd never done it till this weeks flash point. Fly into the fissure and go left instead of right towards the pyramidion.. Breathtaking visuals.

7 RepliesTry D1.

1 ReplyThe only hidden thing in D2 is the room Ana Bray used to hang in. That will probably have something to do in or secret to find in when they release the next DLC where she is suppose to have a part in.
-
1 ReplyThere is the "Floor is lava" challange in the Traveler and the purple ball transformation.

8 RepliesWhat's the point Bungie made d2 to make more money and make Destiny an esport.
