I'm legitimately lost as to what your thought process was to this move. I'm not as angry as I should be. Just confused. To prevent offenders from derailing the discussion, you limit the voices taking part in the discussion... I don't care if you see it as a legitimate concern as to who owns the game or not, you are trying to fix a problem that already has a permanent fix. If trolls are being trolls, you ignore them. But if you are so adamant on taking your blanket nerfing tendencies to the forms, then just ban individuals who are causing problems, as you can clearly see who owns the game and where they are in terms of progress. Your post says so. dmg04, I recommend you take these thoughts to your higher ups and mull over this a bit more. And if these "higher ups" have the brain capacity of a five year old, perhaps you should rethink management as well. Thank you.

  • It doens't limit any discussion at all. All it limits is people who have absolutly no qualifications to be talking about the game (those that literally havent even gotten past the intro level) from spewing BS. It only locks out people who havent AT ALL played the game. You dont even have a heavy weapon yet before reaching the farm. Anyone who thinks this is a bad move is just angry cuz they have to find somewhere else to mindlessly spew BS. Its not about keeping dissenting voices away, its about finding out what people who have actually played the freaking game think of it. Thank God. Maybe bungie will finally be able to make good decisions when they can be sure that most of the comments come from actual players instead of trolls.

Right so because I haven't completed the leviathan raid once means I can't ask questions about or criticize its mechanics? Or for people who want to purchase the game but want some honest feedback from players of the game without the PR BS, where do they go if not the forums. How about off topic? A place to talk about ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING? There is a place here for people even WITHOUT owning the game. It's attitudes like this that chase people away from a community. Feeling like you can be excluded at a moments notice.
