Destiny1 raid in Destiny2 (Vault of Glass, Crota's End, King's Fall, Wrath of the Machine)
Hi,
I could not play destiny1 because I didn't have a ps4.
I started playing destiny2 for PC about 2 months ago and I really enjoyed it !
I'm so sad for the shortcomings everyone is talking about...but I know that bungie is doing everything possible to solve the situation and save this beatiful game.
I have only one question that I would like to ask bungie :
it will be possible to relive the raids of destiny1, in destiny2 ?
( using, for example, vex simulations to simulate the past )
I hope that someone from bungie will read this thread.

4 RepliesWhy are people so stupid about this? Those raids weren’t built for D2 and D2 is very different from D1. I really wish that people would think for a moment and realize that everything that they used during the raids and which made them not a chore aren’t in D2.

1 ReplyI seriously think they should have made Destiny more like other MMORPG's in the aspect of adding content and story depth to the game for years instead of this situation. It's got too much potential to be wasted over a 10 year, 4 game franchise scam. It's sad to see potential and time wasted.

TBH I thought Destiny was a story, with role play, some sweet guns and a whole lot off light! I thought this light would carry me through to year 10 and possibly, beyond! On hearing Destiny 2 and 3 then a 4th, i was a little perturbed to say the least! I would like to see the worlds and universe evolve, grow and deplete if needs be, but in all the right ways! Guardians, with years of conditioning, should be hard as nails and using abilities we can only dream off! That’s what games are for...... I want all the raids throughout its life, I’d like a private room in the tower with walls full off guns and mannequins stocked with armour! But that’s just me......

The only problem here is that that would be a really great idea and I good use of the utterly useless "infinite" forest so they definitely won't even consider it

It would be great to have but highly unlikely. All of those raids were designed around the old supers and the old weapon system. Besides the fact that they would have to be created from the ground up in a new engine, they would probably take a lot of retuning to be real enjoyable with the new guardians. That being said, it would be an extremely good gesture from Bungie were they to do this for their community. Would love it to happen but very much doubt it will.

Only if it’s free. I really don’t want to pay to play the same content I already payed for in the first game. I’ve had enough of getting old exotics coming back in this game along with destiny 1 trying to re-sell me back my own damn gallyhorn back to me during rise of iron.

1 ReplyThe fact that people are still suggesting that they want this should be a big sign to Bungie about how bad D2 is. No I don't want to play raids from D1 in D2. I want the raids and activities in D2 to be so good that I don't think about going back and playing D1 raids. If I was feeling nostalgic I can still go back and play a D1 raid. Bungie has already been lazy enough with content for D2, allowing them to throw old content from D1 into D2 would be a huge mistake. We would basically have paid twice for the same content. Do we really want to send a message to developers that this would be acceptable?

It would have to be done right maybe a spinoff version? Similar but not exactly the same
