Making people buy a game just to post in an off-topic forum that doesn't relate to the game is never a great move. It's more like a move that will just weaken your community and earn you more bad press.

Like Bungie ever cared about its fanbase since they signed of the deal with Activision. Most of the original Bungie staff has long since left. It's just the fractured pieces left behind.
