I really enjoyed the crucible now and think the ttk is great. It gives more skilled players the chance to still win a 1vs1 when fired upon first.
I don't know what is planned but anything which makes players feel "more powerful" is a backward step IMO. We ready are powerful, we have lazer guns.
Yes grenade recharge times can be improved but I find super moves quite tiresome to use and fight against. They are good for special situations but I think that mayhem showed how incredibly boring constant supers are. When you have one ready you kill everyone, when you don't, you instantly die.
Im glad Bungie is trying to act on feedback from the community, but making pvp less challenging by making it easier to kill people is surely a change in the wrong direction?

Faster movement with current kill times is going to be a disaster. Everyone is just going to run around and escape quicker.

Anything to get through the ''infinite'' forest faster

Imagine how quick you can get through the infinite forest now! Who wouldn't praise this as good

I’m looking forward to it. Movement is one of the things that made d1 pvp awsome.

Destiny 2 PvP is an abomination compared to Destiny 1.

I left as fast as I could

Faster movement rewards the more skilled players and makes CBMM more challenging Bungie slowed everyone down to broaden the skill gap. Which is why we have team shooting... Closing the skill gap will definitely benefit the top tier players more and allow them to really shine. As they did in D1.

Edited by x 4theRage: 2/7/2018 5:34:56 PMUm no. You're definitely the only one lol Edit: however it's not gunna change anything as far as bringing back lapsed players. D2s biggest problem is the lack of customization, subclasses, random rolls, powerful perks are all gone so it's still gunna be the same boring crucible. Just a faster version of blandness.

Wish they would go faster with releasing a full game

I have to say that I don’t agree with you. Not condemning you either, just my two cents. Looking forward to this update quite a bit myself. Now I just hope they don’t screw it up.

Edited by blade329: 2/7/2018 5:21:52 PMAssuming your comment isn't satire, here are my responses.
I really enjoyed the crucible now and think the ttk is great. The emphasis on team tactics and team shooting is a smoke screen to help players with poor aim. That's also why movement and in air accuracy was nerfed as well. I always get a kick out of players who actually think D2 takes more skill. LOL.
I don't know what is planned but anything which makes players feel "more powerful" is a backward step IMO. We ready are powerful, we have lazer guns.
LOL. This isn't Overwatch, bud. Designing a loot based space magic game around a level playing field PvP offering, makes no sense at all. The results speak for themselves. They lost a ton of players within months and are scrambling to make it more like D1. You must have never played Destiny 1. Bungie clearly states "Become Legend", but the game makes you feel pretty ordinary.
Im glad Bungie is trying to act on feedback from the community, but making pvp less challenging by making it easier to kill people is surely a change in the wrong direction?
Destiny 1 WAS more challenging. Making players more lethal and giving them more choices, does make it harder. You had to actually think about your builds and ability selections. Abilities worked with mobility, armor and recovery. They also closely worked with gear. That gave you many different ways to build your guardian and many different styles of play. My stats in D2 went way up. Not because I got more skilled, because D2 is super easy.
