Why should the forums created for the Destiny players be used by non Destiny players?
I totally understand restricting #destiny to Destiny players. I don't get restricting #gaming and #offtopic, though. Some of us were here well before Destiny.

 • For over three years now the forums have been for Destiny. If the players have moved on the the Destiny franchise, then too should they move on from the forums.

 • The only ones confused are those like you. It would like going to a restaurant. You order food there once. Than you come back every day to hang out with others that have done the same thing. All the while except the owners/workers to be okay with it. Even though you all never buy anything after the first time. I assure you that you would be asked to leave.

 • They're blocking D1 posters from offtopic and gaming, so D1 posters who haven't played D2 can't go there. See, not too difficult to understand, is it? Is it?

It'd be like kicking me out of the restaurant after I've been coming in every day for 10 years and having a few beers and making friends with the regulars, even though I'm not disrupting the other patrons. Listen, I get restricting #destiny to Destiny players. That makes sense. Because you don't want to flood #destiny with shitty posts from people who haven't played the game. But why restrict the other areas unrelated to Destiny? It's not like I'm asking for the restriction to go away entirely.

 • It might be to help cut down on people who get banned and make new accounts. Which for some means no consequences. As they are living behind anonymity. E.g. In the last few days I seen in #Offtopic people were complaining about a poster being racist all the time. He gets banned, makes a new account and repeats.
