Cayde's Chests? 25000 glimmer for 9 blues 20 tokens and 1 odds. Seriously?
Cayde's chests - I just spend almost 25,000 gliimmer and time searching and here's what I got
9 blue items all garbage
20 Io tokens
1 Cayde's Odds & Ends piece...which I still have no idea what they are for....
What a total waste of time. Bungie this kind of BS content makes people not only not play, but it makes them question your entire design

Sometimes you can't win. I typically see one exotic from a Cayde chest every other weeks. Usually get one to two legendaries every week. I don't pay attention to rares. Just to give you another perspective. Hopefully your luck will improve. I don't sweat the glimmer. I'm usually maxed out on that anyway.

Working as intended Always has been a glimmer sink with no value at all. Total lack of game content so this is what we get

1 ReplyThe trick to getting good stuff from Cayde’s chest is to: 1. Buy all the maps for the week 2. Go to the planet that has the chest 3. Find and Loot your first chest from a treasure location (don’t expect anything) 4. After you loot each chest, complete 1-3 Public Events with a fireteam medallion in between the next chest you loot (works better if you’re in a fireteam and they pop a medallion as well) 5. Head to another location on the map for another chest and open it. Your drops should be significantly better. (Exotics, emblem, 1-2 legendary engrams, possible faction weapons, other loot) 6. Repeat steps 4 & 5. Hopefully it still works; if not, I tried. Haven’t done it in while. Happy looting

1 ReplyI have gotten exotics from doing these. I think they should drop the price. 5k per map is crazy. Cayde said there was loot. He never said it was good loot.

Caydes odds and ends you take back to him and he gives you about 100 glimmer. I don't bother with them no more they are pointless and a rip off
