Grenade And Melee Kill % Requirement on IB Chest Armor is RIDICULOUS
I have played long enough to get EVERY other iron banner ornament and I was only at 28% on this ornament’s requirements. I have played an additional 5-6 hrs after this point (focused only on melee and grenade kills and losing every game because of it)and I am currently at 47%. That’s just ridiculous. Melee and grenade kills are Uber difficult to come by now that melee hits and grenades have been nerfed to all ends.
Here’s the reality: grenades don’t kill:
1. People stand on grenades for two pulses and live,
2. a melee+grenade does NOT kill,
3. With god dang Karnstein armlets on it takes THREE melees to kill(WTHck BUNGO?),
4. It takes multiple grenades to kill, but I only have one and it only kills if the opponent is nearly dead.
FIX THIS CRAP BUNGO, this sucks. NOBODY should have to play IB 8hrs a day everyday this tournament is active to get this.
Oh, and EVERY board we are playing is based on long range combat...

You know you have all of season 2 to do it. If the reward was something better than a Ornament then I may actually care about it. But adding in quest lines that could take a entire season to do is just fine with me. Plus it's not like the Year 1 Thorn quest, that crap, well it if you were just a casual PvPer, was a biatch.

3 RepliesSo for all the D1 vets...remember when we went on the exotic HC quest (I don't remember the name, sorry) and one of the requirements was to get HC kills in crucible. But if you had it equipped in a loosing match you actually lost points (again, sorry vague memory..I didn't get in D1 until RoI). Does this objective not feel like that again? It's almost like an invisible penalty to keep you back.

Just make grenades more powerful. The grind is great, how you are forced to do it sucks monkey balls!

1 ReplyI don't want to be mean, but if you're not getting these kills then you're using them wrong. You shoot someone, THEN throw the grenade in to the cover they're gonna use. That being said, the grenade respawn takes WAY too long. I suggest use a Striker Titan
