These are not sherpas. These are scumbags.

1 ReplyThis had been happening since VoG, but got really bad when trials of osiris released. They don't deserve to use the name sherpa. A sherpa helps teach people the encounters, and helps them complete it, for free. I easily have >500 raid completions in D1, and vi didn't get rewards for most. Why? Because I was running it a second, third, maybe fourth time on my main helping to teach others. These people aren't sherpas. They're scumbags looking to make a quick buck due to someone else's desperation.

There's a group of them that spam the recruitment section when Trials is active for recoveries, but some of them steal accounts and sell them online. They been doing this since D1 and had two of them join my fireteam for a fresh WotM raid, halfway through the raid they were talking about what they were doing and I stopped and booted them out, can't stand that shit.

as long as not account recovery there is nothing against it. However, there are plenty of clans or even twitch streamers that will sherpa (actual sherpa where you get to learn the raid) you thru for free
