Perhaps his heart is in the right place, and he can only do so much, but can Bungie pull through? Will the higher ups call more bad shots? MTX got abused. How will the writing and lore be treated?
Edit 2: Stohl apologizes but doesn’t clarify. More vagueness. Also, despite all the likes, Bungie mods have buried this post to hide the flack they’re getting. Going to repost this.

22 RepliesThis is what happens when you hire new writers. They want to put their stamp on things. Hence, Brother Vance became "Blind Dave" and the Saint 14 / Osiris feud became a throwaway storyline tucked away in a legendary weapon quest. All the grit and dark stories of the D1 grimoire will be replaced by Harry Potter and Twilight level storylines. This is what happens when you hire teen fiction writers to head storytelling on Sci-Fi game universes. It's like they are afraid to create compelling characters.

Everserse has the lore. Like why wouldn't iron banner weapons and armour have lore, or the raid weapons and armour have lore, or faction rally weapons and armour have lore. Or planet themed weapons and armour have the lore. But nooooo, eververse has the lore. Oh nice bungie will let eververse stuff drop from the raids, i really don't want anything tess has to offer at this point. Oh don't forget, it'll evaporate with the next season, poooph gone. Tess crams her exptics u...... The icing to the cake is the limited lootpool, not alot of weapons or armour to put lore onto, how hard would it be to implement. Also without a kiosk for the weapons and armour that has lore, what is the point because the vault can't hold them all. Rant over, i hope i made any sense Tess makes me really unhinge i swear, this is just one reason why i can't be bothered to reinstall the game.

I am agog. What the hell is going on at Bungie??? Is it just chaos? Is the captain of the ship drunk at the wheel? I'm not sure they could do a better job of ruining their IP if they were actually intentionally trying to sabotage it. I honestly am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what fantastically asinine thing they do next.
