Blue Weapons Upgrade to Legendary
Some of the blue weapons look and sound better than their legendary counter parts. There is certain weapons I'd love to keep. Maybe you could implement a quest to convert them? It would add more to the weapon pool as well.

if you get the blue to drop at 330, you can upgrade it to 335. This is my next goal to be 335 but with all blues.

1 ReplyThis has been yet another thing people have been asking for since the first game. There are blue (and even green and white!) armor sets that legit look better than any legendary as well. Especially for titans. If you're not going to reskin everything, Bungie, at least let us manually upgrade shit.

If only Bungie had done that in the past or something and it would be easy for them to do. [b][i]*Looks at Stranger's Rifle*[/i][/b] Even though that Conversion was completely pointless as all it did was allow you to ascend it to old Year 1 Max... in Year 2.

I've said it before there are several blue weapons that are better than legendary. At low light level there was several weapons I wanted to up the light on it and keep it. I would love to make blues legendary.

4 RepliesThis is a plausible idea. And I think it could be accomplished. It’s a cool idea. However, I would rather see the return of random rolls. Now if common and uncommon weapons and armor could also be upgraded to legendary, then we might be getting somewhere cause it would give us plenty to do and might make us feel like there is more loot in the game. Still would prefer random rolls

1 ReplyAbsolutely. That's a lot of under-utilized work that could be put into the meta right now and I would love it. Please find a way to not waste resources by allowing for upgrades to our Rare Weapons. Make it a difficult, resource intensive process so that it can be 'special'

1 ReplyShould keep bumping this to get attention. I think it would add a lot to do and good way to bring back random rolls. Each conversion can be static or design it so we can decide to random rolls and stats.

I agree . I've been using a Ros Lysis exclusively in trials . I wreck with that thing is use two other blue weapon in my load outs during strikes . I'm level 335. Nothing beats those . In fact some legendary weapons need to be junked

Could be cool. I know I've thought a million times that I think some of the rare armor looks better than the legendaries.

The ability to put kinetic weapon mods on energy weapons, and vice versa, would also be welcome...

You know, I want the manannan SR4 for so long and have not gotten it, same goes to the antiope, RNG hates me, I have the Madrugada SR2 and Sondok-C which are blues but equally as good, sad I can’t infuse to make them max light :( I really love those and even use them over my legendaries at times, please up this post, it means alot to me as well, I hope bungie will allow this.

I'd rather them put legendaries ingame that totally outclass blues.. That's how it should be.

Agree, been asking the devs for this. My favorite PvE (and all around weapon) is Cuboid. PvP it's Bayesian MSU. I think it would completely change the dynamic of the game if there were paths to upgrade all blues to legendary
