Would you rather grind for a ghally type weapon or a ghost shell that sends you to the gambling spot quicker?

3 RepliesI want a new huge dlc that's starts off with our guardians waking up in the old tower after a massive explosion from an attack and d2 was a horrible nightmare that never happened, the vaults are undamaged full of our old gear and the new raid is our counter attack vs enemy that attacked tower, after our hellish d2 nightmare we will attack New raid with extreme prejudice, this might save the current state of the game

I was one of the unlucky who never got a Ghally to drop no matter how many Raids, NF's, PvP matches, etc, that I did. But never once did I complain that it should have been made easier for me. Chasing that weapon is part of what made the game fun. Weapons like that. I didn't get my Ghally until that Xur sale near the end of Y1 and I got about a month to enjoy it at full strength. I HAD A BLAST. Dreg = Ghally Shank = Ghally Thrall = Ghally Bosses = Ghally You name it, I was shooting a Ghally at it. Burned through so many heavy ammo synths. You had videos of people screaming in joy at getting one to drop. Now we have nothing to get excited about. Because the other people who didn't get one to drop like me, couldn't STFU and keep playing like me. No, they had to cry and cry and fuqng cry. "Wah, LFG won't let me play with no Ghally!" Me: Ok, I'll make my own post so no one can boot me or reject me. I would then find people easy and get shit done. But that was too hard to ask of people I guess when dealing with LFG. Better just get rid of the weapon and the chase altogether. Great job!

The ghally chase was both frustrating and exhilarating. It prompted my 100+ raid completions and made the grind enjoyable. That’s missing from the game now.

They should have had a seriously powerful weapon worth raiding/grinding for straight off the bat when it released. Something so devastating it would help us spam the raid boss and have loads of fun reaching max light level. Then, they should have raised the level cap and introduced challenge mode so our seriously powerful weapon wasn’t as powerful. Would have been so much more interesting.

That was my question also , it’s totally stupid I couldn’t care less about a stupid ghost , give me the new vex 2 as a raid reward make it hard to obtain I bet people would play !! I like it when you get different parts of the gun from different end game activities , then to complete you have to finish the raid !

Would It really be a grind though? They made exotics so fking easy to get in this game people have probably completely forgot how hard they were to get in D1.

They wiped characters memories and game and then completely started from scratch. They tied it into the story nicely and overall created a better game. It’s pretty much the only thing Bungie can do.

Idk man. I’m looking forward to masterwork armor. That means everything you get (besides exotics) could potentially be a masterwork. So it should be dropping them for frequently. Plus, I believe the ghost allows bright engrams to drop as well as exotics per encounter. I’m excited to raid next week
