So reskinned loot and the end game is getting a ghost that sends you back to the gambling spot.
Hmmm

When did Destiny not have reskinned loot? Seems an odd thing to complain about now, as we should know what to expect at this point. I'd love new models for everything, but it's gotta be clear by now that isn't happening.

I was actually in Vegas this week. Turns out, there was no way to earn free chips to gamble with.

Actually there is...Vagas even has a cash shop. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/how-to-use-myvegas-to-save-money-in-las-vegas-2015-9 I use my earnings on here to get free shit all the time.

Edited by munkt0r: 1/26/2018 3:09:58 PMSlightly different, what you're doing is scheduling a time to spend real money while THINKING you're saving money due to marketing. I'm sure if you did some digging, you'd find out that the places you could use said loyalty points actually funded the teams that created the "MyVegas" app. TLDR - You didn't get anything for free, they just lured you into certain specific places you could spend your money while THINKING you were getting something for free.

Edited by Lost Guardian: 1/26/2018 3:12:42 PMOne would argue time is money, as you get paid for your time. If you don't get paid are you not spending money otherwise earned (statement and rhetorical). The great illusion of capitalism.

Edited by munkt0r: 1/26/2018 3:21:11 PMAs I assumed, Playstudios that designed the MyVegas app was created by a team founded by the President of Wynn Casinos. I read through how the app works, it can only be used at authorized casinos in which the price for products is already inflated to incorporate the savings the app provides. You never get anything for "free" just discounts on purchases. Effectively, you're never handed "Free Cash" in any way. The "time" you think you're saving is actually being invested within the very place they were trying to get you to go to spend your money to begin with. You think that's analogous to the way Bright Engrams work? Here's how it would be analogous. You play the game to earn XP in which you get bright engrams and when you go to Eververse she takes bright engram from you for a discount on purchases in her store. In reality, she just gives you free stuff for playing the game. *EDIT* If it worked like that, I'd give your analogy a bit more credit.
-
Except we bought the fxcking game for $60. The store was included. So, in reality, you just think she's giving it to you for free.
-
That logic tho.
-
It's so they can add more items into eververse and have the excuse "we gave you more ways to earn bright engrams".

Bungie is broke and beyond salvation.
