Ability cooldowns need to be reduced to D1 settings. Less space magic isn't fun.
The Vortex Nova Bomb needs a bigger blast radius.
The Slova Bomb is buggy, and sometimes doesn't even kill enemies.
The 'shoot' button during Stormcaller is buggy and non responsive sometimes. The same goes for the 'square' (PS4) button when trying to pick up an arc charge, revive, etc. If I'm holding the button down already, it should work. I shouldn't have to press it again.
Bring back the primary/special/heavy loadout. The new one sucks.
Our characters are slow, weak, and the hunter and warlock jumps are terrible.
Bring back machine guns.
Int/Dis/Str.
Mobilty/Armor/Recovery adjustments should be put back in the skill trees like D1.
Make tracking available on ALL launchers.
Bounties.
Stop designing your strikes in a way that lets lazy players just run past everything.
Make shaders infinite use, and add a shader kiosk.
Let us use our sparrow on Mercury.
Tone down the teleport ability of Minotaurs and Captains.
Add Death From Above(Striker) and Combustion(Golden Gun) to the skill trees.
Make the Sunsinger super an option in the Dawnblade skill tree.
Random rolls and better perks on weapons.
Add some more legendary VoC/Cryptic Dragon design scout rifles.
Buff Firefly/Dragonfly.
Each season should add new weapons like D1. Not just re-skins.
Make exotics worth using. Get rid of stupid perks like "reloads your sidearm." That's not exotic. ex. The Sunbreaker gauntlets should grant an extra grenade like they did in D1.
Hire writers that actually use the grimoire lore in their stories.
If 'important targets' are engaged in combat with a player, they should not disappear.
Buff snipers in PvE. They can't even one-shot a shielded red bar enemy.
Factions should be available all the time. Get rid of the pointless faction rally.
Give Ikora a unique/better loot pool. Make her meditations worth doing.
If we are at 334 light level, exotic engrams should decrypt at 335, not 334.

What's so bad about hunter jumps? They're the exact same as D1?
-
It just feels off to me. Not as 'crisp' as it used to be. I wish they'd just give every class the titan jump.
-
Edited by l Xemnas: 1/26/2018 6:47:24 PMAh I see.. I wouldn't know. I mained titan in D1. I've been using hunter in D2 solely because of Orpheus Rig. I still prefer titan jump but I'm glad its not warlock.

Here's what nobody is talking about; ability cooldowns are something that people have been asking to be reduced since launch. Bungie say they will address it with mods 2.0 as and when they are implemented. Yet, every few weeks, the Pyramidion nightfall drops with potential light, giving you increased grenade energy. The dawning had mayhem crucible, giving you dramatically decreased cooldowns on all abilities. This suggests to me that reducing ability cooldowns is a simple process that they can implement at will. So why haven't they? If Bungie is really listening, why are we still waiting for something that seems to be an easy fix and would improve the game for a lot of players?
-
My guess is they have to factor in mods as well. They really want the mod system to stick around, so it sounds like they are making it more impactful. If they make it more impactful AND reduce the cooldown in general overall, it could get really fast, like way faster than D1. Just thinking out loud. Also, even though the hunter has no grenade boost perks (that I use) the Titan has a FEW. If they buff general levels AND mods, you could basically have co stand grenades on Titan. Everything is tied together. Tricky balance.
-
Faster Cooldowns are the easiest thing to implement and it would take Bungie literally 10 secs to implement and then re-complie their code. How hard can it be to change 3 variables (super/mele/grenade), save the library and re-compile??? Come on Bungie, get your act together!!!

Yeah good list but they’ve heard it. They’re doing it - but it wont be overnight. What do you think about the actual TWAB? Are you pleased that it’s positive? It’s a good one! If each week is like this then we can slowly move towards your list being more broadly addressed. One step at a time.
-
Your feet can't move just by talking. The update is meh. We will wait to see the next one.
-
It's all still things that should have been in the game since launch. AoT made D1 perfect, and then they didn't carry over any of the improvements to D2. I don't understand how they could be so dumb.
-
The game was rebooted that’s gotta the only reason why! I’m betting the original Destiny 2 project involved us carrying over all our gear and instead it served as a major expansion to the original game. I have no idea why Luke Smith decided the game needed to be rebooted but it meant that they only had 16 months to develop the game from scratch and I’m assuming this is why it’s missing so much stuff. It was rushed.
-
Yes, and everyone's friend Luke Smith will reboot D3 for you also. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.
-
They focused on PvP balance too much, and the game flopped because of it.
-
Yeah that about sums up everything I want.

Edited by Phobos113: 1/26/2018 8:19:33 AM"Make tracking available on ALL launchers." IF they brought back random perk rolls... (unless that's what you were getting at) There was actually an awesome titan exotic in D1 that did that, it also caused heavy ammo to drop more often. They should at least bring that thing back. EDIT: and after reading through the whole list, this is just making me want to go back to playing Destiny, back when Destiny was actually a good game, and not this rushed and heavily watered down trash.

Edited by l Xemnas: 1/26/2018 12:46:30 PMAh the taikonaut. I have some great kills with that and hezen vengeance on crossroads. Pick up heavy on the island, find a target across map, and let the sparks fly.
CATCH A RIIIIIDDDEE
Me an my clan went on d1 last night, 3 d1 vets too who hadn’t been in d1 since September and chat was alive with laughter and amazement of how d2 pales in comparison. We’re now having a compulsory d1 day every week now.
-
Edited by Phobos113: 1/26/2018 8:45:47 AMI'm not surprised. Practically no one on my clan list (OR friends list) plays D2 anymore, they're either plying games like Fortnight, or not at all. Even I'll go for days without playing, and when I do play it's usually for a few minutes in crucible.. until I get tired of the laggy BS and team shots on sweaty peek-a-boo maps and sign off.
-
This. Even if only 10% of this was implemented over the next 2 weeks it would be a huge step in the right direction.
-
You need to be patient. The road to d1 target is 10km long. Presently, bungie is heading towards it (first one-big-herculean step, about a meter), so everyone is pleased with bungie effort and communication. You must know though damage reduction during super may be bland, but that is the first step (why even bothered with it?). Meanwhile, we would like you to know our beloved Tess decided to give away bright engram in the raid. Yes, you heard it right. Enjoy!
-
Lol, the second they start forcing you to kill every trash pack in a Strike the population of that game mode will plummet. If you want to waste your time shooting all the trash in there that's fine, don't expect me to waste mine as well. Strikes don't need to be even more obnoxious than they already are.
-
Edited by rockshox: 1/26/2018 7:54:25 AMI bet your the one who complains there isn’t any content then runs past everything. I’m the dick who sees you running in strikes and takes that xtra care to clean up before moving on and walk straight by you when you need a revive, because you always do at some point. Bungie make strikes not random after every one so when I find a good team I don’t have to be broken up and matched with this asshole
-
I tend to disagree with you. Bungie decided to design Strikes in a certain way that awards you at the end. There is no use in grinding a strike because its not rewarding at all. You are much better off grinding in the EDZ for random drops and tokens instead of killing everything in a strike. Its the reward to time ratio. I for one, like the majority of players run past everything in a strike just to get to the end and get my cake. If I want to grind, you can find my in the EDZ or Nessus.

^THIS 100%

Agreed.

Right lol? They always die, especially at the boss, and they're usually bad players overall.
