Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad if you could hold your tokens between faction rallies. I mean, you limit the tokens. Then decide that you're not going to give the rewards we want and expect through doing the event. Then, after having to scour the site to find out why nothing is dropping, to see if it's a bug, I find this thread explaining that you can't get any new weapons at all. So basically the first week of season 2's faction rally feels like victory week, where you just get shaders and stuff from the old loot pool. I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with this roll out method, had it been explained beforehand and IF I could carry over my tokens, if I so choose. I have two new characters on PC that didn't do the last FR, so at least they can get some armor and old weapons from the one faction, my original / deleted character didn't get. But it is definitely frustrating to see content creators doing videos and saying "the token turn in appears broken, don't decrypt them since they aren't dropping anything good. I think the loot pool is broken".. Then when I search to find whether this "bug" is fixed, I find that the loot just isn't available, by design. Can't farm.. Can't do more than 2 lost sectors, can't get the loot I want, can't carry over tokens. If I'd have known all this, I might still have been OK.. Wouldn't have liked it, but might have been OK, if I didn't have to go searching for all this information on my own. Just put the damn rules that you're using into the game on the main screen when you log in for the first time. Tell me up front how limited the event is so I don't waste my time chasing unicorns.
