For vets, It’s a hardcore grind. You grind all week with little to no immediate “reward” for a chance at having your faction’s Auto Rifle for sale next week. That’s why I’m grinding now. It’s for next weeks reward.
However, if you’re just now starting a new character(s) after Christmas... then you have so many new things to earn and collect. TBH I’d feel overwhelmed if I had 3 new characters and 1800 tokens to collect and 30 armor ornaments to unlock all in one weeks time. That’s a lot of playtime without a “backdoor glitch” to skip it all.
Also, It makes each package earned more valuable; in terms of in-game rewards and the faction package counter that determines the Rally Winner! It’ll be real interesting to see the package count this week.

Seriously?...... It takes 200 tokens to get to rank 10 and 50 more to buy all the armor pieces if they didn't already drop from ranking up. Just playing will get you the ornaments once you pledge. I don't think thats a grind for anything even if you are new, even doing all 3. As for the winning faction...I don't think anyone really cares anymore as all the guns are just reworks of old ones and feel all the same.

But what I’m saying is if you turn in 30 packages for a faction... then you mean it! You want that faction to win. Or you really want that one weapon. It’s a hardcore grind.

Edited by Mistress Ani 99: 1/19/2018 6:52:39 AMThe smart players run 3 characters and pledge to each faction. That way you unlock all the ornaments for every set. No one cares which reskin bad gun you get or which faction wins....except you.

But the Dead Orbit Auto Rifle isn’t a bad Gun... and it’s the only “new faction loot” we’ll get until next month... I want new gun... I guess I’m alone in wanting that

It's just a reskin though and it's just an 'OK' gun. We all want new gear not drip feed reskins.
