Because, the more we play the game, the more we hate it. Bungie is not full of incompetent people, they know exactly what they're doing, everything is intentional. Everything shady that they've done and has been discovered, was discovered because someone played something a bunch and recorded the numbers. They want to continue manipulating us, so, they remove reasons to play a bunch -- thus securing the ability to continue unnoticed.

It's an artificial way of stopping people from completing stuff to fast, or gathering stuff too fast. Everyone hates it, bungie dropped the ball.

Every activity in d2 isnt throttled, but i get it, that's the new 'it' word, like 'paywall' was a week or 2 ago; so no matter if it's true or not, people are gonna run with it.

So basically you just want the check without having to work for it. This game hands everything out like candy if you put anytime into it at all. Granted once you get it once its worthless.
