Finished it all last time round. Didn't need to farm either. If you play enough it'll happen organically.
Haven't been to see the factions yet though. Do the ornaments work just like the VG ones? If you've levelled up enough it's available to buy?

Nah they all have requirements to unlock. Helmet ornament needs the entire set of armor and complete a nf. Cloak needs to open up 5 faction packages. Arms is 15 patrol missions Chest and legs Idk but they're create orbs and get a bunch of super kills
