Ok, hold on there. Look Bungie, I love you guys. I do. And I very much enjoy Destiny 2 as a whole, but this throttle is absolutely ridiculous. I read this post, saw the community's response and my gut reaction was that these people were complaining that the farming glitch didn't work anymore so I paid it no mind.
Flash forward 20 minutes: I'm playing the game and looting sectors at what I feel like is a pretty lax pace. I'm in no rush, I take time to kill every ad in each sector, and yet on my fourth chest opening I get no rewards. Not just no tokens, nothing at all.
I'm assuming this throttle is purely for the integrity of the Faction Rally. That's fine, but then shouldn't the tokens be the only rewards throttled and not all of the normal loot too? I'm also assuming that the 10 minute timer you describe doesn't actually start until the first chest from a sector is opened. Which means that realistically the penalty is for running 2 lost sectors within ten minutes of opening the first chest, right? If the point is to stop glitch farming, can't you figure someone is doing that if they open excessive amounts of chests in, say, 5 minutes? Or some number that doesn't also include the average person's run time of 2 lost sectors?
I see the message you guys are trying to send here, but right now with the current system that message is coming off as forcing players away from lost sectors as a viable source of loot.
