UPDATE: Lost Sector Rewards
We're aware of player reports about Lost Sectors not granting rewards. There was a throttle added to address an issue in the previous Faction Rallies where players were earning 500 Tokens per hour.
The patchnote concerning this change has been updated to correctly state that all Lost Sector chests are subject to this throttle.
Right now if a player opens more than 2 Chests in a 10 minute period they will not receive additional rewards from Lost Sector chests for 10 minutes. This does not prevent players from completing milestones related to Lost Sector chests.
Cheers,

4 RepliesDear Bungie. Please, please, please can we have a little common sense. This game is built on the premise of repeating the same activities over and over in order to obtain tokens that will allow us to get gear. If I want to do the same lost sector over and over again until I’m a dribbling mess then let me. This is me playing the game the way I want to play it. In what way am I harming the game or the community by doing this. I’ve wracked my brains to try and come up with a reason why on earth you would throttle me from doing two lost sectors within 10 minutes or put a cap of 30 levels per character, per faction rally. Why? I’ve been a strong supporter of you Bungie for many years through Halo and from D1 BETA with over 5,000 hours in D1 alone. However I am really struggling to understand some of your decisions since D2 launch. I understand that you have shifted the focus of the game to better suit the so called “casual gamer” but I question whether you truly understand what this means. The simple fact is that the “casual gamer” by their very nature would not spend hours and hours in a single sitting grinding away at lost sectors. That defies “casual” logic. It’s the dedicated players, the addicted to Destiny players, the ones that have supported you and stuck with you through the past 3 and a bit years of this game. These are the ones that you are punishing with this behaviour, not the “casual gamer”. Please Bungie, can you please have a bit of a Stop, Think, Go moment before you end up breaking this franchise. It might be a bit harsh but at the moment D2 really feels like 343 Industries has taken over Destiny. Where is the Bungie that I grew to admire?
