1/16/2018 Maintenance Complete: Faction Rallies is now LIVE.
Hey all,
Hotfix 1.1.1.3 is now available, removing Curse of Osiris requirements for Faction Rallies and Iron Banner rewards.

While I understand the need for the cool down timer, I believe it is to long. 5 minutes would of been more appropriate. That is about how long it takes to fast travel and get back into a lost sector.

So more throttling and no new loot in season 2? Isn’t this a Live event done by the LIve team? Christopher Barrett right? And he expects us to believe his development update will deliver anything worthwhile if this is the kind of shit he’s delivering?

Instead of actually fixing the problem (which only concerned a fraction of the playerbase anyway), you created a new issue for everyone. You should have just fixed the door in that particular Lost Sector. IF you were going to throttle, 2-4 minutes is PLENTY of time. 10 minutes is stupid - it prevents people playing the game legitimately from enjoying the content. You made the same kind of boneheaded call regarding the supply caches in the Lost Sectors. Now they literally serve no purpose, aside from the milestone. You're supposed to be making content [b]more[/b] attractive to play, not less. Honestly, whoever keeps making these types of decisions needs to re-assess their perspective, or they need to be removed and someone who has analytical, lateral, and critical thinking skills can take their place. I mean, some of these decisions are so blatantly shortsighted you have to wonder what is going on over there.

Do you realize that even when doing all sectors once on a single planet is also fast enough that your dumb throttling becomes active? Deny farming a single sector over and over, okay, but a 10min cooldown after 2 chests makes no sense.

6 RepliesWhat did you throttle it to? Zero? Signed in, went straight to the lost sector on Mercury (didn't open a single chest on the way), not one faction token for completing it (yes, I destroyed all the cashes). Not only that, but the milestone for looting lost sectors is still at 0% after looting it twice (15 minutes apart from each other). I just don't know what to say anymore...

Almost any cooldown would have worked here to stop the previous exploit in the EDZ. How going from 0 minutes to 10 minutes made sense to the powers-that-be? No idea.

I was hitting 2 sector per area than go to a new area via fast travel and did those and still got all of the tokens. But I think strikes gives me more tokens and they are more fun. Here's a fun fact stop complaining. Do 2 sectors than hit either a strike or crucible than to back to hitting 2 sectors and repeat.
