Although I played during the beta of D1 and been through the now nostalgic days of D1, I think the Taken King really revamped the Destiny experience and offered a very enjoyable raid (although hated at first).
*April Update is meant to be Taken King through April Update/Rise of Iron that middle section is poorly executed lol
Edit 1:
Although the poll doesn’t show it TTK seems to be the choice overall for the content it brought and how enjoyable it is
Edit 2:
Hey guys I like all the replies there are definitely some interesting ones to read and the polls are really tugging at House of Wolves (who’s that 1% at CoO lol) This post got some pretty good attention which was pleasing to see but I figure I would pose an idea I had while watching mTashed’s final thoughts on D2:
Power Level Locked gear
We have a little bit of level locking for the actual levels but I think that if we had level locked gear that provided additional passive abilities then getting to the max light would be more rewarding and be more sought out. One issue I see is the causal players compared to the hardcore players because the hardcore players would have an advantage over the casual but I personally feel that we can’t all be on the same playing field all the time. Seeing people better than me in D1 encouraged me to keep grinding to that really cool gear someone had. Now in D2 the gear is generally the same through casual and hardcore players.
Tell what you think and still vote for the best era of Destiny
I did a little cleaning up so the post didn’t completely bloat the screen check out the most recent edit (Edit 2)

6 RepliesVanilla/Dark Below. Those raids where whack, and the gear you got? When was the last time a raid dropped a Mythoclast or a Black Hammer*? *Younger Players might only know this as it's lesser brethren, the Black Spindle
