So you weren't surprised when that shiny cabal hid behind his shield and blasted you off the Colony Ship? Or how bout needing to take down Psions quick before they multiply into a whole new squad?
I won't sit here and say that they weren't re-skinned and twitchy. They were. I've said in another comment in this post that I wish we had some of the other races that Oryx Took and mixed them in. But they really did mix up a lot of the fights that were otherwise the same thing over and over again.
They made like 3 new sprites for an entire year of the game? They made like 2 new ones for Destiny 2. You'd think a blockbuster would put more work into it than that
Yea, it would have been nice to keep getting variety. Taken and SIVA helped a bit, but not much. The only events that were really effected were Strikes, you were never sure which mobs you'd have to clear out.
So don't get me wrong, I'd love new enemies. But there is still a lot to be explored with the current ones out there, and I'd rather see more variations and dynamic encounters with them than just more cannon fodder.
