I assure you, as someone who raided the ever living hell out of D1, the load out system is like not even on the list of why I stopped playing. The loadout system is literally THE LAST THING y'all should have on your list of things D2 needs to improve. Same goes for the legion of people now saying "bring back random rolls". Oh yes, nothing like raiding and getting an armor piece with strength on it. If it wasn't Int/Disc it was worthless. Simple as that. Random rolls will not solve your issues. No, the issue is the lack of weapon variety and a meaningful and deep customization system. No one asks for random rolls on their weapons in games like Battlefield 4, or Blacklight. Why? Because the mod system is one that changes up your gameplay tremendously. Y'all need to stop looking at symptoms and look at the cause. The cause is lack of vision or anything remotely resembling content that belongs to a AAA studio. If this were some random indie developer that made D2 it would be fine. This is Bungie, the game is 60 dollars, I expect more. [u][i][b]WE[/b][/i] [/u]expect more.

  • People play destiny because its not cod or battlefield. Random roles is a unique feature of the game or was. Make it like the others, why bother with destiny when those games have better content. Taking out your uniqueness that differentiates you from other games puts you into more competition with these games. If destiny loses its identity, it loses its base, which it has already.

  • Makes you wonder why a company with so much history, experience and business expertise not realize its own niche in the market. Move away from that, you risk losing your core audience.

  • As someone who has raided more than 99% of you who likes PVE and PVP Bringing back random rolls and D1 weapon loadout is the absolute best idea

  • Thats the problem right there. You are a raider. A lot of us are pvp players and good pvp players. We left cause of the buddy hold hand system and the lack of action, risk vs reward element like D1 had. Also the "skill gap". I don't mind the load out system for PVE. It's not the greatest though. I like pressing forward at all times in PVE. So If I see a vex in the distance. I take pop shots at him with my pulse rifle. Another vex is now close. I'd like to take out my shotgun and blast his ass. I see a hoard of vex to my left coming at me. I want to turn, jump in the air, pull out my rocket launcher and blast um to shit. Or if I see a vex in the distance, I'll snipe, auto rifle the close one and rocket launch or machine gun the hoard. Destiny 2 don't have that. It's auto rifle, pulse rifle, switch back to auto rifle, reload, shot, switch to pulse rifle, reload, shoot. Repeat the process until a heavy ammo will drop. Load heavy ammo, repeat the process. Which makes it boring. On top of that. We have no supers ever, no grenades when we need them. It's lack luster.

  • I like the team shooting aspect, you can still wreck if you go solo. Headshots are your friend. Much more enjoyable, for me, than pvp in D1 which I swear to God is next to WoW in how god awful it is. Granted, I always prefer games where the question is how well you can use your gun vs. how OP is your subclass.

  • PVP could be better if the time to kill wasn't so long. They could also reduce everyone's health by 50 points. But there is still an issue with variety. I used white and green weapons in the majority of my pvp matches in destiny 1. It's more fun. Even in destiny 2 I was shitting on kids in trials with a white weapon. I just want variety and in this current system. I don't have it.
