Exactly. If there's NO NEW story content before the fall, nobody will be left playing by then.
Who wants to just do the same quests/missions/strikes/public events just because they announce an "event". The Dawning and Crimson events just rehash old game modes, collect this, kill that.
Without any new story for a year, instant doom for Destiny 2.
They REALLY don't have a clue.

How you figure? I enjoy the story, but I also play the other game modes. I certainly don’t like how they dumbed the overall game down though.
