OFTEN WHEN A LEADER DIES A NEW ONE COMES TO FILL THE VOID, BRING BACK OLD RAIDS
Anybody else fancy running through the Vault of Glass, or Crota raids with different enemy's and bosses in Destiny 2.
Yep we need new Raids but the old ones were good also, and didn't come with shit rewards like Tokens.
I fully understand about reskins and old content we've already paid for, but obviously I'd want new stuff also, but more things to do is always better.

As someone mentioned below, this could even be done as a simulation run by the Vex in the infinite forest.

We would have had all of the great updates/features that we are now waiting until fall to get with d2 and all of our original raids to play.

Yeah, the infinite forest would make sense, seeing in the first cutscene Osiris invades a VoG simulation.

It’s a good idea and I can see the value in farming bosses for new currencies introduced for exotic class specific weapons and armour, still makes it viable for veterans to run and stays the level as it’s just a massive grind and thus also helps new players get through and “learn the mechanics” and this helps keep retention through a created learning curve and keeps old content up to date, evolution through not changing but adding, even creating nostalgia later in the lifespan! But, those are MMO elements! They could make vault off glass viable and fun with the old iteration but have forks within its path having different completion endings given that we now have the means to do so, thank you Osiris! This also creates a dealing off greater content as it is greater, far greater as it creates a huge grind, but let’s face it, what are we grinding for.... But that’s my thoughts and not Bungies!

1 ReplyDestiny 1 Raids, never got an invite to do a raid. Destiny 2 Raids, never got an invite to do a raid. This is the last year for Bungie on my end, I will stick with single player games or Coop. COD, ASSASSIN'S CREED etc...

No they brought them back in D1 Y3. If you want to play then go to D1. Stop asking for D1 content. We want new not old.

Why not instead of rehashing bosses from the campaign that were released along side the forest and take popular encounters from the old raids and turn them into strikes using this time travel mcguffin they have implemented to make less work for them.

No don’t bring back old raid. But bring back multi boss raid encounters. I loved running Vog, KF, Nd diva raid because of the fact you encountered multiple bosses that are he raid glory I miss. And of course raid specific weapon that were good out side of pve, raid armor that help me not just in the raid but across all pve. Bring back the functionality and mechanic that made D1 raids “great”&

They could do them the same way they do the quests through Ikora. Like a meditation memory kinda deal. No changes needed.

Maybe instead of having a massive ship we fight on doing absolutely nothing except entertain an inanimate cabal emperor, we actually infiltrate an enemy stronghold LIKE in d1 but not recycle old content like maybe travel deeper into the hive infested parts of the arcology and fight the thing in the water with subs or something simulating a dogfight or killing it from the inside, possibly delaying or stopping savathun from being summoned after the destruction of the shrieker

If they could just port all the D1 planets, raids, strikes, and crucible maps into a free update then yeah do it.

At least 10 times of nothing in D2 gets you a token engram. 10 times of nothing in D1 gives you the “Forever29” hashtag.

2 RepliesI don't think they would be as entertaining with the current weapons and loadout. I'm sure they could be done, but without Gjallarhorn, Sleeper, Spindle, Touch, Dark Drinker, etc. they lose the magic. Certain weapons became synonymous with certain encounters. Who really wants to teamshoot oracles?
