The “screaming into the mic moment” when you get a 1v3 in Trials is gone. This newest communication from Bungie is a bandaid applied to an amputated limb. After over 3 years of compiled feedback, testing, trial and error, they totally missed the ball on what the community wants and are instead taking the game where they want it to go. They are flipping the middle finger to the heavily invested and devoted fanbase from D1 in favor of selling more copies to a broader amount of casual gamers. Squeezing money out of piecemealed DLCs and Eververse in favor of making a quality game. It is far too little, far too late. All of the “next expansion will get it right... Next update will get it right” people are finally wising up to the fact that this game will never live up to the potential and promise that D1 had.
