440 RepliesHey all, I'm in the process of speaking with teams internally, concerning the massive amount of player feedback surrounding Mayhem. I'd like to thank you for all of the posts, tweets, PM's and other forms of feedback that have been submitted throughout the Dawning event. We'll be in touch.

Edited by ScottF 2112: 1/15/2018 11:40:13 PMThey might be right with this decision. One thing they seemed to get right at launch is that they realized there wouldn't be enough PVP players to support more than a couple of play lists. That has got to be part of why we have just two options plus Trials. 4V4 may have also been a good move to speed up matchmaking and reduce lag compared to 6V6. Everyone probably likes the idea of faster matchmaking and less lag (well nearly everyone). There are so few people playing PVP now that the experience would probably be much worse if they had all the D1 playlists and the total players available at any given time were trying to get into several different game types (i.e. less people will be trying to playing the game mode you want to play if there are many other options). 6V6 is a similar issue. When they bring 6V6 back we should expect longer matchmaking and more lag unless the number of players goes back up. What they are doing now kind of makes sense with the low number of daily PVP players.

6 RepliesDude really?! Really?! You actually enjoyed sitting in Mayhem while douchebags (you might be one of them if you are this upset) threw infinite Nova Bombs? that was fun to you? Because I refused to use my Voidwalker AT ALL during the mayhem event, and if there were no Warlocks in the game, it was a TON of fun like in D1. But if there was just one damn warlock on either side, it simply became a Nova Bomb fest. People like me, who are actually pretty good without cheating, saw their K/D's decimated during the past few weeks, while the jerks throwing Nova Bombs got to stack up 20/1 K/D's every single game. Now those same douches are sitting in the Trials of the Nine lobbies saying "I have a 1.5 K/D, everyone else must be as good as me" when really, all they did was cheat to get their K/D up by playing Mayhem with a Voidwalker. Pathetic. The mode was broken, they acknowledged it WEEKS ago, and obviously it will be back. But it SHOULD NOT be brought back until every damn bug is fixed, so that the game mode is not just a Nova Bomb fest.

I miss it so much.

50 RepliesCommunity: “Remove Eververse!” Bungie: “Remove Mayhem? Ok. Got it.”
-
46 RepliesWant to know something even more unbelievable? Houndish just put out a video talking about how information regarding Crimson Days got leaked. And guess what? Eververse is involved again. So after the huge amount of negativity about micro transactions during the Dawning, Bungie decides to almost immediately give us another limited time event with loot boxes involved.

24 RepliesYou should play fortnite. That company kicks ass! Plus there is usually weekly updates/activites in pvp with new items. So it always feels fresh. Know what else is really great about that company? They actually communicate with their playerbase and when they need to fix something. It takes about a week or less. Seeing this from one company. Then dealing with a company like bungie. It really hurts my brain how bad bungie is at doing their job.

1 ReplyI've been here since day 1! I've been done for 2 months now! Should of quit a long time ago! Later! I won't be back on these forums, either. I do not care anymore!
-
They might be fine tuning it so it’s a better gamemode overall
-
No it’s coming back. Confirmed in the new blogpost. Might wanna edit that in there.
-
Wow, you actually jumped to a conclusion instead of waiting for the official info drop they said was coming. Good job.
-
Edited by Moth180: 1/12/2018 3:03:09 PMThey removed it because 1. The community WAS in fact bitching about(a small minority smh) 2. That nova bomb glitch needs to be fixed 3. Most importantly it was part of the event
remember crimson doubles back in d1? I do, it took bungie awhile to actually get make that a game that you can play in the game
-
6 RepliesThey are trying to work out how to monetize it. Give them time.
-
1 ReplyThey want you playing the Crimson microtransaction gambling event and spending cash. Profit over players.
-
24 RepliesDamn can you let these folks get back from break?? All you see in these forums is complaint after complaint, and whining, Damn we know d2 got problems pretty sure they do to. Sick of all this crying
-
D2 is dead. Bungie is a joke now.
-
2 RepliesSeriously? Even in D1 mayhem was a limited time event. That's how it always was and always should be. Did you really think it would be added to crucible forever? It's a special event like Iron Banner.. shouldn't be permanent
silly
-
3 RepliesThe community makes suggestions to improve the game, not demands. Stop acting like they are complacent just because they don’t do everything you ask. Believe it or not but not everyone likes mayhem.
-
lmao @ all these "you know it was a limited time event right?" posts , , why would people ask it to stay if it was a permanent fixture
-
1 ReplyPeople had no problem with this in D1 so why are you mad now? This is exactly the same thing they did back then
-
I did not get my pony i asked my parents for. Unbelievable.
-
Mayhem has never been permanent...
-
I get what you mean. But from d1 mayhem was never permanent. I agree it should be more like it used to be every other week tho instead of special events
-
Edited by MrGwap03 (TIMELOST): 1/11/2018 2:27:24 PMWe need the ability to pick our own game mode period.. the whole state of the crucible blows my mind away .trying to stand behind it but it gets harder and harder. So many other multiplayer games have so much more depth. I dont understand what bungie is doing
-
It was technically broken so I’d rather them fix it first tbh

Dem Snowballs doe...
