Account Ban for Running MSI Afterburner & Throttle Stop??
What the hell destiny i was playing on EU servers (when im from Asia) because i have friends on the EU servers and yes i LAG alot in EU , but that doesnt mean im using any DDOS hacks!!!
Also i have MSI Afterburner and Throttle Stop running because I use a MacBook Pro running Bootcamp with an EGPU because I love this game so much I spent so much money on these hardware so that I can play it and now I am banned???
What have I done to deserve this! I am a loyal supporter of Destiny since D1! WTH DESTINY!!

People claiming that unobtrusive overlays are getting them banned are just scaremongering. I have an MSI laptop (which I regret purchasing) so have MSI Afterburner, MSI True Color, Dragon Centre and Killer Control Centre running just to keep the laptop going. Add to that things I have installed: OneDrive, iCloud, Razer Synapse, Norton Online Backup, AVG, Daemon Tool Ultra. Just having these programs installed and running does not get you banned, only abusing them does. I have a Razer Naga mouse, I can change weapons, throw grenades and activate my super from the thumb pad. What I do not do is use a macro for rapid fire or anti-recoil, abusing a program is what will get you banned, not just having something like 'MSI Afterburner' or 'Razer Synapse' installed.

Really? After reviewing your trails match history you have numerous "odd" matches. As others have stated, your match history sure looks like you are a cheat. Learn from your restriction or it may become a permanent ban. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

18 RepliesYou can be restricted/banned for poor connection (see statement "yes I LAG alot in EU"). If you've been around since D1, you should be fully aware of this.
