(POLL) Would you buy Destiny 3 if it came out today?
Based on the current state and direction of the Destiny franchise today... are you planning to purchase Destiny 3?
My personal opinion is that if Destiny 2 was the first game of the Destiny franchise, I would not have pre-ordered and purchased the sequel.

I went back to D1(crucible and pve) so no. Unless D3 is like D1 then maybe...? Getting team shot 24/7 sucks(D2).

1 ReplySince D2 is officially a ReBoot and I shouldn't factor D1.... No I wouldn't buy it. I lost motivation so quickly and most of my friends I regularly play with quit the game and 90% didnt even buy the DLC so they aren't even coming back :/ This is after us basically not stopping at all D1 until middle of the final year. No fun, no loot to grind, no raid activity worth doing... just a boring game.

2 RepliesI'm done with Destiny and I'm done with Bungie. No doubt they plan to use the Eververse for pretty much the entire franchise and giving priority to that and PvP...this game is not for me. If they separate PvP and PvE, I MIGHT reconsider but having them both and the Eververse...FUCK THAT!

I pre-ordered D1, purchased all the DLC and took part in all the paid record books from SRL, very much enjoyed it too. I pre-ordered 2 D2, along with 2 special edition white ps4 pros for my wife and I, with the season pass. I enjoyed what there was of of the limited game. I feel it was intentionally left lacking so there can be a glorious comeback. I also believe it will fail spectacularly. In no way do I feel the vanilla game was worth half of what they charged. I may purchase D3 if they win my trust back, but honestly that seems unlikely. I will certainly NOT preorder another game or DLC from Bungie or Activision ever again. I don't have buyers remorse over D2, but, I am sorely disappointed in every aspect of the game. D1, Bungie, and the player base grew up together during the journey. And to see Bungie revert D2 to D1's infancy state is more than disappointing. They removed everything worthwhile good that took so long to build in D1. Being the cynical person I am, I believe it's done intentionally. Now they can give it or sell it back to us piece meal, and we'll thank them for it. I hope I'm proven wrong, this game should have come out of the gates far superior to D1. It had every opportunity to do so, from a mostly supportive community too having no restraints from a previous generation system. They failed to impress and inspire at every possible opportunity. I hope they are ashamed of the game they put out, at the very least disappointed in themselves.

Yes i would purchase it. Because if it was released today, that means it was being developed at the same time as D2, which means Luke Smith had absolutely nothing to do with D3.

2 RepliesTricky question. Given everything that we've seen with D2, I definitely won't be pre-ordering anything from Bungie again. On too of that, the retail price for D2 tanked really quickly so I'm certain I'll wait out the reviews and gameplay footage next time around.

I have never liked HALO I have never played Destiny since it was by the Halo creators. I bought Destiny 2 because it was out fo PC and all my friends got it. I regret buying it. So it's easy to say I will not buy anything even remotely close to Bungie or Activision anymore ... Fool me once shame on you ... I won't be fooled twice ...

1 ReplyDamn no. I would wait, wait and wait some more. I preordered the game and DLC and have regretted it. With D3 I will wait for the hype to die down, for the inevitable stellar reviews which turn out to be B.S. and the first DLC to drop. If the community are still complaining about the same issues as they are now, then to he'll with this franchise. This also applies to any future D2 DLC that comes down the pipe. Bungie will flat out lie to you if they are selling something and YouTubers will sell their souls for a Cayde 6 doll in a fancy display box. Don't trust any of them
