TWAB speculation! Let's have it!
This upcoming Thursday Jan 11th 2018 TWAB (TWAT) is gonna be big.
We all know it. We're gonna see which way the wind blows at good ole Bungie studio and finally understand the true direction this game will take moving forward into the new year.
So...what do you all think is gonna be said/layed out for us?
Who gonna do the talking?
Will Deej spare the newbie the wrath of the salty ones and lead from the front and QB the TWAB or will he cower behind the excuse of an event (somewhere) and throw his minions under the bus? Time will tell.
Will we be subjugated to the placating, buzz,word, fluff talk type speak saying everything yet telling us nothing crap we've become so accustomed to these last year's or will we be shown a road map? a true honest to god road map on how Bungie intends to smoke and mirror the unfixable. Watch and shoot troopies watch and shoot.
Will the "Forum War of Salt and Fire" against EVERVERSE be acknowledged or will it be revealed that all was for not as the cold reality of Bungievision's disregard for us truly pushes its way to the fore? The answer remains to be seen.
Stay tuned Guardians this is gonna be a goodin so please share your ideas for how this upcoming TWAB is gonna go down. Steal some thunder. Preemptively attack their working gaming philosophies by letting them know their tricks are old and dried up.
What will Bungievision do? ...GO.

1 Reply"We hear your feedback". "We're listening". If this is included in TWAB then they will have already revived a failing grade from me. Which this is most likely what they will respond with so I'm already not hopeful. I think either of these damage control terms will go over most of the community's heads, however they shouldn't. They should throw the community into a rage. They have been "listening" since day one and the game hasn't gotten better. As for what I want? This is a tall order but it is needed if this game is to survive. Team changes. I want the the lead writer changed. Luke Smith has to go. The entire team needs to be swaped out. Replaced with people who are ready and willing to make use of there talent and not hide behind the age old excuse of "it's too hard". If you can't live up to the job you've been given, leave. Nobody wants that kind of attitude. Especially a company who loves making games as much as playing them. As for eververse? Now that I think about it, I want them to leave eververse in the game. Disable the MTX portion of it of course, but leave it open. I want it to remain there as a stain on a would be great game that could have been made, and if a greater game does come out of this, I want it to be a reminder to Bungie of what they tried to pull. How they treated their community. And that they failed. The people who loved their game so much took charge and reminded them they were better than that. A lot to ask for but a man can dream right?

1 ReplyWell, let's look at what we do know. We know there is an upcoming sandbox patch coming relatively soon. We know they are adding sparrows, ghosts, and ships to the Iron Banner and Faction Rally loot pools. We know we have a DLC in spring, but no word on what is after that as far as content goes. We know someone recently data mined Crimson Day ornaments. So that is most likely the next event. We know they are adding private matches and ranked playlists. We know they are aware of the Eververse problem. It will not be removed, sorry folks. Best we can hope for is an adjustment. What I want is dates for some of this stuff. And maybe what are the plans after the next DLC... like, jmwhat are the other 2 studios making for the game.
