Or it could cost you nothing, or 10 dollar or hey, even 100 thousand. See, the wonderful thing here is that it is OPTIONAL COSMETIC stuff that has NO impact on the actual gameplay. Sure, PvP is a mess, endgame is laking, the armor sets have no real perks, etc , but hey, lets riot because my sparrow slot background is purple and not gold, and I don't like the idea that I can buy to get it quicker then being patient and grinding for instead. This is becoming so redundant. Until they sell something that actually alters the game play or gives a player a distinct advantage, this is all cosmetic stuff and not that big of a deal. Crying about it on a forum doesn't solve anything. You don't like it? Show them by not buying anything with money. These forums are the worst. There has been numerous threads covering the same thing, stop spamming the forums with duplicate threads and post in an already established thread.

My proposal: Please be respectful and hear me out. A REAL solution to the Eververse dilema. A win, win for players AND Bungie. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/241711075 Middle ground and understanding can be established, it just takes some goodwill and gestures of trust to get back on track here. My 2 cents.

Forrest Gump-“Are you stupid or something?””,I think that applies here.

If it's really RNG, you could technically never get everything. I got the full armor set for my Hunter along with the 2 exotic ships and most of the sparrows and ghost shells with $20.
-
It’s not cost me anything, I don’t need that shit anyway but I do think it’s wrong to keep best cosmetic items behind an rng paywall

The problem with this Eververse shenanigans is that the real problems are going to be pushed aside. For example, why whenever I'm in the tower is there a marker nonstop telling me to talk to Ikora? It is only with my Hunter. Is it something they have equipped or what? Bungie can't solve these issues, because you all want them to just focus on the evil Eververse.

2 RepliesAnd that amount quoted is only if you get the best of luck everytime, which you won't. So it can easily go to $13,000+ per season.

5 RepliesEdited by joey big guns: 1/8/2018 3:51:24 PMThat sucks. Haven’t spent a penny and I got quite a bit out of Dawning. Even picked up a little sword the other day. No charge baby 😘 🤔If only that stuff dropped for free....😳oh wait...it does🙄

22 RepliesEdited by AtomicSAVAGE175: 1/7/2018 8:20:36 AMIt's almost impossible to earn all of the gear/shaders/ ships/ sparrows/ ghosts just by playing each season. I know I couldn't. Even flat out grinding for engrams. And I put 40+ hours into a game since Christmas. Which is probably more then most of the hardcore gamers in destiny 2.

Don't worry - there are plenty of BDF and Bungie Apologists here who are just itching to give Bungie that $5g's and then some for crap.
-
"Do I need to say anything at this point?" No, but if anybody is dumb enough and got any more money to waste I would be happy to take it off their hands.
-
The most important word in that sentence is CAN So maybe say something about your point since your post seems to lack one....

What that tells me is Bungie has paid me back for the cost of the game in the bright dust I have got from experience rank ups. Viva Eververse.
-
Or Eververse can cost $0.00. That is how much it has cost me since it first appeared in D1.
-
1 ReplyI've just started playing D2 and I've spent all my money on Eververse. I love the idea of being able to get good gear while having no skill at the game whatsoever. I plan to buy all the dlc and continue to support p2w and Eververse whenever I can afford to.

2 RepliesI’ve spent exactly ZERO dollars on Eververse and my experience with D2 hasn’t been affected in the slightest. Ignorant post.
-
10 RepliesLol.. there is actually a piece of human garbage on this thread who stated the OP is wrong because they spent 300 dollars. Look. Whether you are to stupid to realize how bad micro-transaction really are to games, or getting paid to write scamming players is okay.... IT WILL NOT WORK. REMOVE EVERVERSE.
-
Assuming you're an idiot and won't just grind bits, get over the fact it's a game, go play something else more rewarding. Shut up little boy.
-
Yes you do need to say something at this point. The 1st being why you think anyone would spend that much money to get loot in this game. The 2nd being why you were stupid enough to post this
-
1 Reply5000 a season. Only if YOU CHOOSE to spend that much.

Tiddies

2 RepliesEdited by CookieNiki: 1/7/2018 7:32:12 PMYou do know it can also cost zero per season, right? That's what has cost me since it's birth.

Ferrarris cost up to 10 million, you aint required to buy one to drive to work. The only bad aspect to eververse is the amount of stuff behind it and the gambling aspect. The amount of stuff behind it is bought on by the community whining about stuff they couldn't achieve as they didn't have a raid team or couldn't play trials. For me I would prefer to get my stuff from the event I am completing. I don't see anyone complaining about the clan engrams but they also water down raid achievements, its wrong you should get raid gear etc when you do not participate in the activity. The gambling aspect is just wrong and shouldn't be in any game.

Do I need to say anything at this point?
yes. explain what the EV items bring to the game. and add up how much money i save by obtaining items through game play. then break down how much it cost Bungie to make these items and why they should be handed out like candy on Halloween.
